why would he try to attack the king knowing that

I can tell you who i think is not the king, I think the king is no one who actually fought against aizen,Its probly someone who would not be considered, I think chad has something to do with it because when chad was training with Renji, Urahara Kisuke said " the problem with his powers is,... then he goes in his serious look face, then the scene ends."

Another hint was the fact that when Gin and Ichigo were fighting, Ichigo said " It was as if you were not looking at me at all during our last fight,
and Gin replys" how scary, awile he was talking to himself" admiting it.

So who was Gin looking at who was so important during his first fight out side of the sould reaper gate? there was Chad, Oriheme, and the Quency dude with the bow.

Considering that both these unexplained events accured without further explaination, I think Chad has something to do with something important at the least.
