It's not my catchphrase, but I have said it before whilst drunk. Did I just use "whilst" correctly?...oh well



The industrial or spiral thingy piercing? I think the spiral thing would look better on a girl, but that's just my opinion.

i confess that i find it odd making plans about getting drunk for months later

Oh, my semester's over in a couple of weeks. And I wouldn't dare risk killing anymore of the few brain cells I have left on alcohol right before my final exams.

I confess I just woke up from a honestly scary nightmare.

I dreamed I was at my workplace next to campus doing my plasma research, but there it had observatory domes and was adjacent to university campus (instead of far uphill). I was chatting with my coworker in my room and she casually mentioned there was some incident going on. Then I heard an explosion and ran outside my building just to see smoke rising from where I had been working until suddenly this crown of ash, like the top of a mushroom cloud, fell down and a booming explosion as pieces of molten metal went flying up from the building me, one arcing to land right by my foot (in the dream I realized that I had a high probability of being dead). Apparently the reactor (there's actually none there btw) blew. I ran back to campus and everyone was in a panic, trying to get out.

It was at this point I seriously thought to myself "is this real? The streets of the city aren't like this, so this must be a dream... but I need my sleep" and tried to relax into a different dream, but failed. I saw glimpses of my friends running but realized that all my stuff was back at where I worked, so I ran back there. My mentor met me at the door and walked me to where everyone else was, over to the "reactor" - which had absolutely no shielding and the top of the containment vessel had broken off, and I could still see ash falling in the room. Everyone was grim (since we knew we were all dead with that exposure to radiation), and my mentor just offered some soup.

Ugh... Subconscious...
