I confess, I am done watching Code Geass R1. Its a good show but I don't find it as get as most of reviews suggested.

I was extremely into the show as I was watching it, but after finishing, didn't think as much of it. Definitely a great anime though. R2 is just as good if not better than R1.

Staring contest

I agree with my enthusiasm subsiding about Code Geass. The second season just didn't grab me like the first and the ending was off to me. Maybe it's worth revisiting at some point, but it's not one of those shows where I would feel naturally inclined to do that with.
