Has it been revealed what the name of Hahagiri's creator/father is? I was thinking there might be the possibility that Amano Kyouko (since this is a girls' name...) and him are related, maybe married? Maybe Togusa is their real child who they modified and tried to make into a katana. Wouldn't it be interesting if Hahagiri was created via using some DNA or something from Togusa?

I guess that's all for volume two. I waited to comment because of how quick the last four chapters were released. Volume 2 definitely confirmed Hitogatana's potential, in my mind. The fight between Seri and the Katana who worked for Hahagiri's father was epic. And there is finally a main bad guy emerging. I'm really excited to learn more about the Artisans, and see the three that haven't been revealed yet. I'm really looking forward to volume 3!

As it turns out, it was Amamiya and not Amano Kyouko... But then again, I think in ch 8 pg21, Togusa looks JUST like Hahagiri!

It was cool to catch a bit of 2 of the other artisans, hope to see the other 3 soon. I'm assuming all 5 are working together now, but if they aren't, well the more factions the merrier Looking forward to vol3 too!

lol. If it weren't for the bangs Togusa and Hahagiri would be twins
She's so adorable. I'm glad she has no weapons, for some reason. I don't think I'd like her as much if she had to kill people. I assume being perfect AI makes her important. And unlike most manga, the women actually get to fight in Hitogatana.

Two Artisan factions would be really cool. I have a feeling they are working together though. Do you remember the name of the female katana who killed Ujiyama Sakon? She seemed to be with the two artisans.

Could someone enlighten me about the artisans? I didn't understand exactly the reference that was made in that fight which triggered a visit to the grave

I cannot remember all the details or their names, but there had been a project of creating better "pilots" (whatever you call those people using katanas) specialized in using katanas; the two of them are the only successful cases of that project. Some of the other children probably died, and the few survived but did not make it to the standard were kept in some sort of facilities. This explains why the little girl can stay in the katana for such a long time. There had been two generations of the project; Togusa's big sister's from the previous one.

New chapter released.

The fights between AKCD and Artisans are really awesome. The chapters really focuses on the difference very well. Artisans are basically fighting machines who are only interested in fighting and strength. They lost a lot of reason due to the experiments they underwent. The fights between Kiku-Ichimonji (driven by Shirou) vs Onimaru (driven by Hakobera) and Shisio (driven by Minamoto) vs Ootenta (driven by Suzushiro) were fast but very well done. I enjoyed them a lot even though they can be somewhat confusing.

I think that the Artisans are doomed to lose
