The Martial Arts Techniques Discussion Thread

Starting this thread as something distinct from The Martial Arts Styles Discussion Thread because there are so many techniques especially those used by Kenichi that transcend different styles, as well as techniques such as Seikuuken that are used by all practitioners regardless of their art.

Here you can discuss the various techniques used by the different characters, compare and predict which would come out on top in a battle, or the possibilities of future developments of that technique into something even better, etc etc etc... The possibilities are limitless~

Which is your favourite technique? Mine is Kenichi's Mubyoushi (無拍子) - I like that it is a combination of all the different arts that he knows. It represents him as a disciple of all those arts.

Kenichi's Ryuusei Seikuken seems to be related to Mushin. Here's an article about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mushin

IMO SeiDou Goui is an "ultimate" technique like Ryuusei Seikuken. Although it can't be used as long I believe that users of it can use Dou techniques because they know how to utilize their Dou ki.
