Gotei 13 Timeskip Changes

I think the timeskip has given the captains and vice captains time to get stronger. Also now that some of the capts have shown everything they can do, kubo has to give them some new tricks to keep their future fights interesting.

I'll just make a list.

Yamamoto- still has bankai
Sasikabe- nothing

Soifon- I think she could bring her shunko to Yoruichis level. This would still make her a huge threat assuming she will only have one arm now.
Omaeda- faster maybe? It would be cool he got into shape.

Kira-no ideas really, I don't think he will have bankai

Unohana- still has any strength feat to show.
Isane- nothing

Hinamori- more well rounded, maybe some new kido combos.

Byakuya- I see him using a 90s level kido in the future, there's still plenty of those we need to see and since byakuya is one of the best kido users in bleach it suite him perfectly to be the one to show one off. Maybe a higher level of bankai usage to, it doesn't seem like he has full mastery yet.
Renji- bankai mastery, higher reiatsu, smarter

Komamura- new bankai technique/trick. I want to see myouu pass the sword so koma can weild that big blade himself. It would be the same speed as love with his club, maybe even faster.
Iba- nothing

Hisagi- I'm guessing he could have bankai.

Shunsui- still has bankai.
Nanao-still has shikai

Hitsuguya- bankai mastering.
Matsumoto- more well rounded

Kenpachi- learning zanpakuto name and getting bankai to become a proper captain.
Yachiru- still has shikai

Mayurinl- new science, inventions, and poison.
Nemu- mayuri will make her dangerous somehow

Ukitake- still has bankai

So do any of these ideas sound possible? If not what do you predict?

i find this impossible. Other stuffs may be possible , but the time skip aint that long to tell the truth(in respect to shinagmis )

I'll admit I stretched that one. Still I do think ken will have the name down pat next time. Also I know he'll use bankai before bleach is over, probably in jus final fight or something.

Though the time skip isn't that long in respect to shinigamis I can totally see how they improved far more in those two years than in some decades before. They actually have to keep up with the improvement other characters have.
That said I think that it's not impossible that Kenpachi knows the name of his sword though I think bankai would be a bit to much.

and he doesnt have any motivation to train

I can see Kenpachi's zanpaktou acually doing something kido-ish, specifically because then:
a) Kenpachi would never use it
b) It would allow Yumichika show people his shikai in non-'kill or be killed' situations
c) Plot twist time

The sort of twist that Kubo would do.

Alright you gotta go re-read the end of his fight with ichigo cause he definitely said he wants to get stronger. Second, re-read his fight with nnoitra cause in mid battle he talks to his zan and thanks it for helping him cut nois hierro. So to me, kenpachi is getting stronger and is developing a nice little relationship with his sword.

I don't think the timeskip is nearly enough time for the captains in general to show significant improvement. Training as a shinigami is a process which takes centuries at the very least for the most part. In that sense, the captains won't be more than marginally stronger except for a few exceptions.

-Kempachi could have finally learned how to speak to his zampakuto and thus acquire shikai. Kempachi with shikai would be an equivalent to other shinigamis using bankai lol.
- Renji should have already completed 20% of the necessary amount of training to master bankai. There should be a mildly significant increase in reiatsu due to that.
-Hitsugaya is a genius with apparently accelerated growth rate to a great extent. It is within the realm of possibilities that he will have a somewhat less restrictive use of tenso jurin during bankai.

Not sure how much soifon could have improven shunko. In SS arc she would have seen to just recently develop it but in turn we don't know what knd of time it could take to master it. It is a extremely powerful technique which yoruichi seems to use as a replacement for bankai so perhaps these two years won't mean much to it.

if kenpachi learns shikai then his uniqueness is gone IMO

he should never learn it or he would be a standard captain..not a man who doenst know his zan and still be a tough captain.

According to the first databook, Kenpachi is in a permanent shikai state like Ichigo was, so if he learns the name of his zanpakuto and don't learn how to use bankai it will change... nothing.

Well, it'd change 1 thing, and that's his strength level. It'd jump enormously if he could share power with his zanpakutou.

While I do think that certain characters in Seireitei—like Renji and Toushirou—will have improved by the next time we see them, I don't think that most of the other Gotei 13 members will come back much stronger than before. I think the future fights that do not focus on Ichigo's comrades (Renji and Rukia are obviously included in that group) will feature the characters who have yet to use their bankai. At this point I think there's actually more bankai-capable characters that have not used their bankai than there are those who already have. In other words, to all of those who's favorite characters are the likes of Byakuya, Kenpachi, Soi Fon, Mayuri, etc. no, I don't think they'll have been able to eclipse the gap between themselves and stronger characters like Isshin, Shunsui, Kisuke, Yoruichi, and the vaizards.

I can easily see certain characters improving on there skills and bankai by the next time we see them. Definately people like Byakuya, Renji and Hitsugaya whom both captains are said to excel in almost all areas of shinigami combat. I don't think we will see them in action now or possibly anytime soon but when we do see certain characters they will have probably grew much stronger then their former selves. The characters who we will be seeing are the ones who have not shown bankai. All experienced users.

I'm certain we won't see the last of the more popular characters like Ken, Byakuya, Hitsugaya, Renji, Rukia etc.

That's wishfull thinking with Kenpachi but I gotta admit all the way back when he was fighting Ichigo in the Soul Society Arc I had a thought about him getting lessons from Yamamoto on how to learn the name of his Zanpakuto - as that was all he wanted to know and let him do the rest. Be even more interesting though if what the person earlier said was that his Zanpakuto turned out to be a Kido type so it'd give him and Yumichika a story instead of him solo'ing all the time.

Added the vice captains. Some are bound to have improved.
