Hahah, don't we all? XD It could be a spoof or spin off when Bakuman is a much longer series. I'd love to see quick one-shots of all of their stuff, Eiji's and Marshiro&Takagi's.

Well, few years ago, Toriyama had a series of three books about his old One Shots called "Toriyama Akira Marusaku gekijou" or "Akira Toriyama's zero (grade) work theater"

So, Maybe Ohba and Obata well do something similar in the future. ((Let's hope they will))

Imho, the only 2 spin-offs, that Ohba and Obata can do, are Crow and the story that will be serialized. (However, I hope that we'll see something about Crow <3 )

Yes, those were all of Toriyama's shorter oneshots. The longer ones were published as their own tankobon, such as Neko Majin, Sandland, and Kajika. Eiichiro Oda had a similar thing in Wanted, which was a collection of his old oneshots that he submitted to Shueisha over a few years, as well as the second One Piece pilot.

But that's why those are different from Crow. All of the oneshots in Toriyama's compilation were small, between 50 and 60 pages or so. The same for Wanted. Crow could never be a full series, it'd be too stressful. And in Toriyama's case, I don't know when those oneshots came out, since the scanlation download links are dead, but I doubt they were written while he was doing Dragon Ball or Dr. Slump. I mean, Go Go Ackman was, but each chapter of Ackman is about 5 pages long. The longer oneshots were probably done during the downtime between series', such as Dragon Boy, which is the Dragon Ball pilot.

I mean, it's a lot of work to get a chapter out in a week, it'd take a while to get a oneshot done too if you did even one extra page per day. So perhaps there'll be a Crow oneshot in Jump one day, but if Obata started around when Crow was introduced, then I guess it could be expected as a one year anniversary thing, or something. That would actually make for a great promotion gag...

2 earths was kinda a ripoff of Jamais Vu, the one shot from a while back by the Hitomi no Catoblepas mangaka.

I read that ((A fan of One Shots))... It was good, but kinda had confusing points when I started reading it.
