pretty good chapter. the battle between alibaba and mar vs the black dijin was interesting though i cant wait till alladin shows up to see what kind of power he gained though i am gonna miss ubo alot .
Ohhhh man. It hurts to want to read all the translations, but its just not the same without the visuals. Gotta hold out. But its fine, the scanlation group does a great job and comes out with chapters fast. Anyway, now I'm sure we'll be seeing Sinbad with his gear during this arc, and it's definitely going to be awesome.
I've just finished reading all of the scanlated chapters and I must say I'm amazed ! This manga easily makes it into my list of "best current series". Kinda childish at first glance but surprisingly deep and mature afterwards. I was in awe while reading the economy lesson as well as the exposure of the hidden and bad side of the financial system our world is relying on. It's not everyday a mangaka goes into geopolitics in an enjoyable way. Magi's author has my respect.
Can't wait for the next chapter !
i don't really get what Aladdin said about Alibaba becoming his candidate to be a king is it king of the nation or the king that will seat on the throne of Solomon?
Pretty sure it means king of a country considering that Aladdin & the other Magi are the ones that appear to have been groomed for the purpose of succeeding Solomon's throne. Course question is what the heck is Solomon's throne - I'm somehow doubtful it would mean the unification of all countries I just don't see all countries ceding their power to a single ruler - and given how Rukh's appear to have been described as those affecting fate I think Solomon's throne may have something to do with the direction of the life keeping the flow of Rukh's towards the path of what is deemed to be the proper fate.
I think this is why Magi are tasked to select proper kings that would rule over a certain country so as to avoid ill governance that would lead to what they are referring to as the abnormalities of the world - or put another way when fate is reversed. That king chosen by the Magi should ideally have the sense to steer things away from creating abnormalities which is why my guess is dungeons were created to be so tough in order to test their qualifications to be a ruler.

What country? Being a candidate for King is likely more then just being a ruler for just any random place where no one would actually need to form an alliance or listen to you.
If that's all there was to it then Sinbad is the best candidate there is, having created a huge alliance over countries that he's the main leader of. I can't really make a guess as to what it really is though since there's not enough information.
