How have you been!? Thanks for dropping by. It's been a while.

I actually got back from Download Festival 2012 yesterday. It was fricking amazing. Got to see so many cool bands. Metallica and Black Sabbath in one fricking concert!

Staying!? How could I ever leave MH permanently!? Trust me, I don't like coming here just to say hi and bye but I've just been super busy with uni and other stuff.

Major is in History of Art.

Art history buff!? hahahahahahahaha. I dunno about that tbh. At the time of applying for uni and deciding on various degrees...I was only thinking about which classes had the most trips, chicks and freedom. Took a look at History of Art and bingo!


...but seriously though I'm enjoying my degree and looking back on the past two years I think I have made an excellent choice.

You went Download?! You see, you need to tell me these things, one of my bosses was bar manager of the VIP bar and I could've got you in. He just came back to the office today and said he'd worked 62 hours in 4 days, including a 20hour shift

How did you like it? He said Kelly Osborne was around his bar when her dad was performing. That's his big claim to fame now

Heard people say they spotted Kelly Osbourne around. Honestly didn't pay much attention to it. It would've been awesome though if I did manage to find my way into the VIP section.

Yea, download was fecking crazy mate. Shitty weather. Real bad. I got there with my friends on thursday morning. We should've arrived a day earlier to set up out tents because thursday was real bad. It was pouring down for the whole day. By the time it hit about 14:00-15:00 the whole landscape changed. Like seriously. From super green fields to fricking brown, shitty mud pools. Wellies and waterproof overalls weren't enough.

The weather was so bad (for us in particular) that we only camped for one night. By the morning all our tents were flooded in water and mud. It wasn't a nice site. I thought it was a dream at first...you know the ones where you wake up and pretend that you're still dreaming and don't wanna open your eyes to the shit thats around!? Yea, that kind. xDDDDDDD!

So we spent more time unpacking, setting up tents and then packing all the gear within two days than actually enjoying the so called "camping experience" at download. It was definitely a great experience though. (When you look back on it now. ) We didn't want to risk a second night in the open with no stable tents () so we opted for the safe option of a "local" hotel.

So yea, after all the gear was packed and we dragged our asses back to the car park (which is a fricking TREK in itself!) trust my luck...our car got stuck in the pool of mud. Like more than 50 cars got stuck but they got dragged out by tracktors or defenders. We were stuck in the car park for the whole day. No joke. We kept being promised that our car would be next in line to be dragged out from the mud but they were bs'ing us. So we said it fk it and left the car stuck at a corner junction which blocks access to I would say a quarter of the cars parked in our area and went to enjoy the sounds of Slash, Prodigy and Chase and Status.

Sounds horrible mate, that's one of the things that puts me off those kinds of festival; the weather and the whole "camping experience". I'd do it if it was for music I liked and it was nice summertime weather, but anything other than that and I'm "meh" about it. I heard from my boss that Prodigy were really good; I would've liked to see them and Chase and Status perform.

Anyways, I was trying to get tickets for Watch the Throne for today since months ago, but the person I was depending on really let me down. So instead I'm gonna work it today and hope to catch a glimpse. One of my friends(who coincidentally also came back from Download) is working the bar closest to the stage area hate him right now...
