Ishida Ishida Uryū, a Quincy living in Karakura Town, is generally quiet and solitary but also cares about being seen as 'cool.' He has a genius intellect as well as a very strong sense of justice, operating on a moral ethic known as the "Pride of the Quincy." Uryū, as a Quincy, primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and combines it with his own spiritual energy to form weapons. A bow and arrow are his weapons of choice, but he has also shown aptitude with other weapons, such as the sword, Seele Schneider. In addition, he is able to use several high-level Quincy techniques, such as Hirenkyaku and Ransōtengai.

Hinamori Hinamori Momo is the 5th division vice-captain. She is very kind-hearted, naïve, and trusting, qualities that allowed Aizen Sōsuke to manipulate her into his unquestionably loyal, unwitting pawn. She is noted as being exceptionally proficient with kidō. The shikai of her zanpakutō, Tobiume, can shoot out explosive balls of fire.

Gotta go with Ishida. It's an interesting matchup because not only is Hinamori adept with Kido, but she's displayed great proficiency with combining Kido and using it tactically.

Still, I think Ishida is above VC level, and being a well established tactician himself, as well as having the edge in long range combat, leads him to victory.

The exploding net Hinamori used against the fraccion would pop someone like Ishida pretty good but he's not the type to just go charging in.

Otherwise she's not to good at chucking those energy balls so Ishida should win easily with his huge array of options.

I think Hinamori isn't made for battle and cannot handle strong opponents...Ishida is quicker, stronger and demonstrated tactic prowess...

An interesting match, but Ishida wins, no question.

In general, Ishida's prowess as a fighter is already above Hinamori's. Like Chad, he seems to be approaching captain-level, while Hinamori does not seem like one of the more skilled vice-captains, combat-wise.

With Ishida's onslaught of arrows, speed and accuracy, she'll be easily forced on the defensive. Against a lot of other opponents, Hinamori's skill with Kidou could allow her to make a surprising come-back (she can deal quite a lot of damage that way, as shown in the fight with Halibel's Fraccíones), but this is Ishida we're talking about. Knowing his level of intellect and tactical insight, he'll proceed with caution, regardless of whom he's facing; it'll be very difficult to lure him into a trap.

Couple that with all the tricks Ishida has at his disposal, including Seele Schneider which might even allow him to absorb the reiatsu of Tobiume's fireballs, and the match is decided.

Anyways, I have to do with ishida having an overwhelmingly easy victory. He is faster, versatile and should by all intents and purposes have the greater range and firepower.

I don't see why people think Ishida is so much better than Hinamori.

She's lieutenant class and she's a master at kido. It's not her fault Aizen's a freakin' monster who can put any character (save for Ichigo) in a coma for the whole series if he wanted to...

She's got tons more experience than Ishida too.

Just because you see him fight more often, doesn't mean he's stronger. It just means he's more of a main character. That doesn't mean he'd win a battle, necessarily. Hinamori doesn't get enough credit. She's a strong fighter - it's just that we've only really seen her fight when she's either already wounded, or very confused... (And again, the wound is from that stupid immortal Aizen who everyone in their right mind should hate and despise... Sorry. I'm kinda ranting off topic now...) But I don't think a fight would be quite that one-sided.

It's not like Hinamori sucks...I actually think she's decent as a lieutenant. She's probably around Rukia-level, it's just that we haven't seen her in too many combat situations...

However, Ishida defeated a Captain. That alone puts him above her. His fight with Szayel Aporro kinda confuses me, considering he does have Ransotengai...so I feel like he should've been able to keep fighting, even with his organs being busted, but even considering the nerfing he seems to have gotten, I think he's above most lieutenants...

She's good, but Ishida is faster, has a decent attack strength, and a variety of techniques...I think he takes this fairly easily.
