Ate Ya no Tsubaki by Kanji Kawashita

    About the series:
Housen is a well-known "artist", specializing in painting classic Japanese porno. What makes him so good at drawing porn? It is because of his innate hatred for women and his impotency. When one of his models become a victim of a local serial killer, Housen finds himself wanting to bring peace to the victim's loved ones by finding the stolen ear from the dead body of the victim. He visits a local "Ate Ya" to help him on the search. These people specialize in finding anything the client wishes. Her name is Tsubaki, and she excavates "reason" in every aspect of human nature. (by DrCoke)

    Status: 4 volumes (ongoing)
    Magazine: Young Animal by Hakusensha

    Does anyone read the series?

I was shocked by the explicitness of the first few chapters, but get too caught up in curiosity to not continue following it. I wonder if Tsubaki is just a common girl or she's someone with a special kind of power.

It seems it might take a while so that non-japanese readers can read the next volume ._.

    Seems like it too, unfortunately...
Btw, didn't expect to see another girl reading this violent series too! ^^ How do you feel about it so far?

Glad you also find it interesting ^^

I personally like how the mangaka chose to write a story that explores deep down into the dark and unrefined side of human's mind, and also couragingly express it. I've never read a series with this kind of storyline before. It makes me wonder how far and deep it will go, and how it all will be wrapped up.

Summary seemed pretty interesting! I couldn't read yet 'cause I can't read it at work, haha, but I've alrdy ran thru the pages to see how it looks like. The art is rly good, and that cought my attention xD Now I wanna see if the story is as good as it seems to be^^ I think we watch so many strong scenes movies that is strange to be impressed when it comes about manga series. I mean, at least it's not animated xD
    I loved two things:
1- How it looks like a soft shonen, because of the art. Tsubaki looks like a lovely shonen second character when you look the manga covers. The content surprises you a lot xD
2- How the leader character is not a good boy that tries to be even better.
    Spoiler show
