Top Gear itself is pretty repetitive to be honest (down to its editing(). With the updating segments, news and guests they are able to make it seem fresh and new. I suppose its a matter of time as they settle in, maybe they will get better. Top Gear had two separate runs as a show and are what...19 seasons in? They have enough time to catch up I suppose.

Yeah, but this isn't quite the same. The unique segments, outside of the usual review are kind of repetitive. But I agree, longevity will help. But who knows, it's on cable, not on an institution like the BBC.
