    Best Female Seiyuu

Ohaidere Just a few days ago, the voting round of the MangaHelpers Anime Awards 2010 came to an end. I'm sure everyone has been looking forward to the results very much Thanks to your nominations and votes, we now have our winners! Which fine lady won the award of Best Female Seiyuu? First, let us take a trip down memory lane to when the Awards first began...

Obviously a popular category, it was no surprise to receive a large number of nominees, namely for: Kugimiya Rie (4 nominations), Romi Park (2 nominations), Ohara Sayaka (2 nominations), Matsumoto Wakako (1 nomination), Tomatsu Haruka (1 nomination), Sakamoto Maya (1 nomination), Yuuki Aoi (1 nomination), Orikasa Fumiko (1 nomination) and Hanazawa Kana (1 nomination).

Unfortunately, only the top 5 could make it to the next round, and looking at the number of nominations, it was obvious that three of them would be Kugimiya Rie, Romi Park and Ohara Sayaka. However, after a short tie-breaker, we were able to select the final two - congratulations to Sakamoto Maaya and Orikasa Fumiko!

Alright then, let's get down to business proper! So without further ado... You, the invaluable members of the MangaHelpers community have cast your votes!! And the winner of the BEST FEMALE SEIYUU category is...!!!

    Spoiler show

Congratulations to Romi Park for her wonderful voice that has lent such character to so many memorable characters - stubborn Ed, cool Hitsugaya, the faintly smiling Teresa, rocker chick Nana, cunning Regene and so many more!!

To all the members of MangaHelpers who nominated or voted, thank you so much for your participation in this project! This project would not have been possible without you!

    Till next time!
