Most appealing first page

Ok, as the title says, what first page was the most appealing to you in a manga, one that was so good that you just knew right from the start it was going to be an awesome manga.

For me this just happened recently, after I started reading REAL, the first page was filled with something that I can not explain now, but it just got me to read this as fast as possible, I can not provide the link now because the site where I barely found to read it online could not allow hot-linking.

But everyone is free to post which was their most appealing first page in a manga, with providing the page as well.

Let us see which manga are set to be epic from the first page.

The beginning of Berserk gave me the creeps. Chapter #1 cover already, before first page:

Well, now, as for the first page... Omg, I guess every reader of Berserk remembers it
If you haven't read it yet, just look at the first few pages, I don't really wanna link them here as they're kinda... explicit? Well, not even really explicit in display, but topicwise


I also loved the Chapter 1 front cover in Vinland Saga Vol. 1. I think it doesn't give quite the right impression of the characters, but it's beatiful

Planetes had a most beatiful beginning imo. Both the first cover (dammit, why am I so much into covers here instead of following the topic?) as well as the first page.

Many people wondered why I'ld think so, but that smile of the woman on bottom panel really hooked me to the manga right in the beginning! If it wasn't for her, I maybe had dropped Planetes early before it became interesting. I think her smile is totally cute. And even cuter on page 2 (see below)
All of the first few pages are coloured and just loosely related to the actual storyline.

Overall Planetes might be the manga with my favorite start so far!

Tegami Bachi started with colour pages, too, and the style of them is totally awesome (as that of all colour pages from it). Page 1

Great topic! I'll start with Dorohedoro. Page one immediately captured a mix of weird, surreal, sketchy brutality that best describes the series. Only thing missing is Q Hayashida's black humor.

Fullmetal Alchemist had a pretty decent first page. It's even better once you finish reading the last chapter, because the message from the first page is echoed.
