The sword? I thought it was cool too. Of all the swords its called Ragnarok. I totally had a moment. Question as to who Rai is, keeps adding up. I mean the guy has a temple under his mansion that is larage as a castle.

Another cliffhanger chapter... I really want to know what is the real status of Rai is he the same level as the current lord or higher?? Because from what the hype he gets from Frankenstein whom we all know a beast I doubt there is someone much stronger than Rai specially with the Ragnarok ^^... I will say that there will be a Excalibur Soul Weapon soon to be introduce.. ^^

It seems like the plot will focus on soul weapon now. I wonder if it will be possible for some modifying human to get some. Frankenstein said it wasn't, but I guess something similar must be achievedd in order for the story to progress.
And if Ragnarok is the former lord soul weapon, what is the one of the current lord ?
I was asking myself those questions for quite a long time now but couldn't find/get the answer. I hope there would soon be an explanation, I'm dying to see more...
I now understand why I was able to read the whole story in one go. It's becouse for each answered question we get 10 new.

@Charlie: Strangely enough, it didn't start that way, though I've come to respect him. My favourites are Rai and M-21.
179 was an excellent chapter. I actually felt like the pace finally picked up and we're getting somewhere. It would seem that we've also established that none of RK-4 are fodder to fall at the hands of unknowns. Though that said, it would seem that Frankie, despite his supposed power level has struggled against a soul-weapon. Will they be able to do what Frankie couldn't due to his tampering? I wonder. I'm really looking forward to the presentation/unveiling of Rai. Also can't wait to see M-21's full transformation.

You have to ask all the "hard" questions. Even though the offical answers are not out yet. I think your questions for 1 and 2 are true. My first guess is that RAI is on the same level as the previous Lord or a "Lord Class". Second guess is that he is on his own class, above the "Lord-Class".
I think the mystery behind Rai wont be revealed so fast because that would kind of ruin the mystery behind him. I think it will be dragged out a bit more. Although like you said, this new chapter gives even more questions that seem to hint, he is something more.

I think that the power of a soul weapon cant be underestimated. Reason being we're told that it has the power of the previous clan leader, going back generations. In Frankys case I think he was holding back a lot because he did not want to kill Rael.
The conversation between Rael and Gejtul (Regis clan leader) seem to hint that.
Next chapter prediction:
I think Rai will go to the Lords castle and give her a chance to wield Ragnarok by inviting her back to his castle. I hope if that happens, he gets Gejtul and Seira out of their Jails. Maybe he will give her ( the Lord ) a test to see if she has what it takes to wield such a powerful Soul Weapon.

It is a given that Rai is a monster and most probably had a soul weapon the question is how strong he is compare to the recent Noblesse..
I think next chapter will be a glimpse on unveiling the meeting of the previous lord with Rai... And about 2-3 chapters more we will see if the Previous Clans will be an opponent or an ally against the upcoming next arc versus the Humans/Werewolves..
