Does Genma and Raido deserve a good fight?

I also think that they are full Jounin,because think about it Tokubetsu Jounin are supposed to be at Jounin Level in only one area the that means that Kakashi is the only full Jounin,becouse Gai use only Taijutsu,Kurenai uses only Genjutsu,Asuma's Technics are based almost full at Taijutsu and then we have seen Aoba use Ninjutsu,Taijutsu and even some Hijutsu.So to me Genma,Raido and Aoba are very good Tokubetsu Jounin.

It's not one area of fighting, it's one area of expertise overall. Such as recon, medical expertise, sealing, etc.

Also, it could be they aren't full Jounin yet because they aren't ready to train ninja yet, something only full Jounin do formally.

In any event, they certainly are badass ninja. Nothing is truly special about them but they aren't fodder by any means.

I thought those two guys were full fledged jonnin rather than tobeketsu jonnin. My facts might be wrong. It is reasonable for them to lose to the sound 4 though. The sound 4 were most likely stronger than what the rookies are now (they were taken out mostly by people who have the age the current rookies are in). In terms of skills and number they were by all intents and purposes a complete shinobi platoon and one full of weird abilities with curse seals at that. If genma and aoba could have actually taken then had they fought under better circumstances then they should be reasonably skilled.

Didn't Sound 4 nins admit that had they not gone Cursed Seal level 2, they'd have taken a lot longer or would have lost to Genma and Raido? They definitely saw both as challenge to not go all out early.

I dunno about Raido, but I believe that Genma deserves a good fight. He's been a cool character in my opinion, especially when he told Neji how a caged bird who strives for freedom will find a way to achieve or something. Plus, he keeps a senbon (I think) in his mouth AND uses it as a weapon when needed (if I recall, he spit it out to deflect a kunai or something), he's cool enough in my book. I'd definitely like to see Genma and Raido fight, but Genma should have a more epic fight.

Well, my Nick in most forums is "Raido", if the name is already taken, I call myself "Raidoton". It's because I really like Genma, Raido and Aoba, and I would like to see them fighting.

Aoba showed already a ew techniques and Raido showed his sword, but Genma didn't show anything besides his Senbon. He deserves a fight, all of them deserve more fights because they aren't overpowered-hax-characters... Their fights would be very cool! I also like too see Izumo and Kotetsu fighting ^^

And taking their rank as an argument why they don't deserve a fight is stupid... Genin and Chunin fights were always interesting...

Agree.. I prefer to see Genma he seems so relaxed and calm like Darui which makes me think he's a genius in a battle.. and i hope he is.

I'm totally agree with Raicrune and RaidotonTo me Raido,Genma and Aoba are cool characters and deserve something more.And Raido suprised even Kakuzu and next Aoba fight with him with Taijutsi pretty calmly so anyway THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING my wish>>>

And I don't know have you noticed but Genma appear in many of the Shippuuden Openings and in First Series he and Aoba appear in many Openings too.

Genma and Raidou deserve a fight, but... they are placed beside Mei, a woman, away from the main fronts. -__-
There are little hope that Kishi will grant their group any decent fight. At least Aoba was beside some main characters when he fought Kabuto, a main ennemy. Helping a woman against the less hyped ennemy sure doesn't bode well for them. Unless, the action actually move in their way at some point, like for Darui which didn't look quite well placed for action with only Tenten and old guys in his division.

They are a few shinobi I'd like to see fight, since this seems to be the background character festival, Aoba and Raidou are ones (I hope they'll get some medals ^^). Tsume and Shino's father (weither Shibi or Gen), Hana already show a new move, I hope will get a better look at it. The InoShikaChou seniors had their moment, but the Hiashi vs Hizashi fight was only hinted, I hope they will get deeper interaction on the second day (it seems Hizashi escaped with the Gedou Mazou mess).

But more than them all, it's Baki I want to see fight. He's Gaara, Kankurou and Temari's sensei, yet all we had seen him do the wind blade throw kunai around. And we haven't seen him so far in the war, as if Gaara had left him home to take care of the paper work. T_T
