Bribed! They do this and they get to live a bit longer. Either way he's selling out fellow humans to save his own life. If he really believes they will let the civilians live, then he's betraying the Gantzers. If he knows it's a trap he's betraying the whole country.

If it really is genuine though it's a small price to pay. Kill the Gantzers and save the rest of the nation. Doubt it's genuine though. Everything we've seen about the aliens shows that they regard humanity as little more than animals or insects.

There's potential for the government to fight back though, with this. If the army can get in contact with the Gantzers they can give them weapons to transfer to the mothership. Send a bomb right into the weakspot of the ship or something. The government has got to be aware of what the Gantzers are capable of... it would be nice to see the army play a more useful role for once. They're getting their asses kicked.

In depth look at pee break!

I'm pretty sure that long piss scene was more about Oku acknowledging his human characters aren't robots. With this extended battle going on over the course of days his characters are going to need to piss, eat and sleep and other boring things. Some of the guys were already complaining of being hungry.

You cant ignore the characters basic needs as they travel, they need to eat and sleep to live and now that the hour long mission scenario is gone getting food and rest has become apart of formula for survival. Gantz is realistic enough that it needs to do this, or at least address it a few times.

Hopefully just a joke -> So we can look forward to Kurono pissing, Kato taking a power nap and Nishi munching on crackers (if hes not dead XD).
