Hmm, guess I was initially right. Must have used the wrong source then, but it doesn't matter. Anyways, yeah, it would be pretty cool, and I'm hoping that Yamamoto will be able to do something creative with his fire as well, instead of just spewing out endless amounts of flames.

flames are heat, the highest heat or temperature is in stars. the hottest stars are blue. It'd be great if Yama would have some technique that would turn his flames blue hot. using the power of a stars heat. Something along those lines. But yeah, doesn't really matter, soi-fon is toast, even if she could withstand the flames she'd lose out on everything else.

Yes, he probably will, unless her Shunko works on him. Which I doubt.:-| But it would make an interesting styles clash.
His hand to hand techs are much different than Soifon's. Something like a Kyokushin karate vs Wing chun fight. I dont know about you, but I would like to see that. I also think Tessai is skilled in the same martial art ways Yama is. Given their physique, they would not do well in Soifon style combat.
But, CC has some resilence and could grab her probably. Shunko or not. Than a backhand strike and its a game for him. Yama should be out of the tournament, he wins without doubt. Aizen or no Aizen. :-|

Problem is Yama Ji has the durability to make any impact from her null. He was able to take a nuke in the face that would have killed all the captains in the area (including Aizen) and blow up a town(or whatever it was) and then follow up with the biggest Kido that we got to see in this manga(or at think it was the highest :P).

Well, Tessai used a bakudo 99 Kin and Bakin. But as far as hado goes, Yama owns.
I would not say Soifon can not hurt him, but it will be nothing of importance. She might give him head
