...I guess my previous assertions were wrong when I said the powerhouses in the real world were going to be useless. I guess they're just going to have to stomp those fodder. On the other hand, I want to see how the Code of the Lifemaker will work on Eva. Is she now considered some fake magic being for being a vampire, or not.

That's something that's been bothering me, since if she wasn't cursed and the Code doesn't work on her, she could have solo'd the entire Magical World Arc.

She wouldn't be affected because she was originally human ( as Negi ; I consider him a demon now ).
Besides the point though I would like to see something like the school trip , Eva being released from the curse temporarily and roflpwn everything.

At any rate, I'm actually wondering if Albireo will be a affected by the Code of the Lifemaker, we never found out where he came from not what he IS. I personally have a feeling that his REAL body was never really shown, not even in his hideout under the World Tree where he spoke with Negi and the others after the Mahora Festival or with Eva and Eishun a few dozen chapters back.
Zazie as well is an unknown, as being 'demonfolk' does not mean she's not of a race created by the Lifemaker.

well didnt Al say that during the mahora m.a tournament his real body was 2 or 3 km away there or something like. i dont know if he was lying, but i dont see a reason for him to. also we really dont know what he is because he has stated that in the flashbacks of nagi that he is not human, of course with other word usage and as a passing phrase. also this could explain why all pactio card end up the same, since he isnt quite human it might make the cards... well less unique, but we have no way to verify this unless negi suddenly makes one with al or something of the sort. and as for the code of the lifemaker, its an artifact and its tampered with other artifacts (kaede's cape for example) functions so i might make sense that it would affect him though to what degree will have to determined.

as for zazie and demonfolk in general, i was under the impression that demonfolk came from a parallel dimension, similar to how the the magical world works (and possibly where the next arc might take place, theories i hear), though not necessarily taking up the same space as earth, like what the magical world does with mars. and so transport and the existance of both the demon world and the the magical world are essentially two different things, so it makes sense that the Lifemaker wasnt the one to have created the demonfolk, though the keys were probably used as a tool to summon them and can probably tamper with them being there on earth or in the magical world, the same way it tampers with artifacts, like how after the failed attempt to use konoka to summon the demon god, the demons went back to there world.

Demon realm might be next arc... we don't know where Nagi went after all so it isn't impossible, it might be even connected to stabilizing MW, some side-effects of ME might surface so it might be connected to this too...

about Al

as for Colonel Sanders and his body.. those 2-3km might have meant from Tatsumiya shrine to Libary island + some distance for going underground... also i think he stated clearly that his technique is usable only during Mahora festival when world tree's magic is filling the air... and if we consider incident with casiopea and how they went to WT's roots week after... when magic could be seen disappearing so I'd say that it was his real body down there, at least when Eishun came to visit... somehow I think he is able to use that technique now though

About Code of the lifemaker

Somehow I don't get why do you think that Code of the Lifemaker is artifact... think of it this way - MotB created alternate plane known as MW - he must have used some sort of spell, technique or ritual to do so, and if you think about it, it makes sense to create items to modify it, so he made the keys and I would think that those were made during creation of MW itself (or at least great-grandmaster's was) so they are "ordinary" magic items, not really artifacts... and the reason why they weren't around might be connected to that ritual - you might remember that Eva wanted Negi's blood to lift her curse... so blood relation might be needed to materialize them

also I quite agree that when Negi finishes Fate, it will be too late and MotB will be summoned and rewrite will be going on already... but I don't think that he will face MotB alone... there were few scenes where Ala alba were called Ala rubra's next generation and it would stress the point more if Negi could nicely line up with everyone to face him together, then the fight might result in 1on1 anyway, but this would stress the point of surprasing ala rubra... don't you think

Guys, the code of the life maker is an magical artifact but not an Artifact with a "big A"...

Artifact comes from pactio, whereas CotL is just a magical item, therefore, a magical artifact... just like nodoka's items (comptina daemonica and so on) for example.

you're confusing the 2 because of the way it was translated in that chapter where Nodoka talk about the CotL, but it's just the way it was translated. Both the comptina daemonica and the CotL have the same word used about what they are, that is, mahou dougu, in other words, magical tools, magical item.
Whereas every single item coming from a pactio card is called an "artifact" even in japanese.

So while the English translation used "artifact" in the 2 cases, it isn't the same words in Japanese.
So don't go building theories by thinking that the CotL is the same than pactio's Artifact... They are bound to be wrong.


As for albireo, afaik, he never said he wasn't human. Just that his real age and his apparent age are completely different, just like Asuna. AFAIK, Asuna is human, so most probably Al is or at the very least WAS human.

you're taking the facts backward. usually, people will get the same artifact from pactios with different persons. It was said during a Q&A. It's people who don't get the same artifact by doing it with 2 different "masters" who are unusual, not the contrary. Again, Akamatsu sensei said that it was probably because for Setsuna, her pactio with Konoka as very special that she ended up having 2 different artifact.
So there's nothing suspicious about the fact that Al did got the same artifact every time he did a pactio with someone. That's a very normal thing.

Yes they come from another world, a third one, thought this one is probably not artificial, contrary to the magical world.

Hold on. What is summoned by the CotL aren't demons. It was said by Yue before, they're more like demon's shadow or something like this.
If anything, those things have a direct link with magia erebea rather than a link with the mazoku. That is because they're created from a magic of the same kind that magia erebea.

Well, she might lose against the Lifemaker, or Negi's ancestor. And even if she didn't, she's not nice or a genius like Negi is, so she probably wouldn't be able to figure out a way to save Mundus Magicus, and most likely opt to leave it to die. Also, the manga is called Mahou Sensei Negima, not Mahou Shinso Eva-chan, so I doubt she'll ever get her own segment.
