    hiroya oku landscapes

    Hi!
I know somewhere in this board there was a thread where you could compare the art of hiroya oku with real life pictures....i especialy remember the first italy shoot with a picture right next to it of the same angle
does anybody still have those pictures and mangasites to compare? or the link to the thread?

i think hiroya oku is the best when i have to think of background drawings....want to see his reference pictures and the matching manga sites again

    Maybe this?

This is taken using Google Maps (as Oku obviously did).

Here you can explore the area.

Cool! I try to find some places from Gantz in Google Earth, but I never find something. I don't know much about Japan, and it makes my failed searches even harder. I wonder if Kurono's house and other places exist.
