this is probably a stupid theory, but I seem to recall the vampires could pull swords out of their asses. So why not military suits and fancy guns?

It would seem that he made it to the apartment before the team was transferred by the leaders. That was the explanation given as to why Nishi didn't show up.

These two soldiers saving Tae is probably the most significant aspect of this chapter. Sure there was some bad-ass moments but of course these ganzters are good they wouldn't have signed on if they didn't think they could survive. If these two guys are legit military soldiers then there could be a number of implications. Maybe the military can fight against the aliens and the gantzers can fight with them.

I think this is right after one of the soldiers shoots at Kaze, misses, and obliterates that monster's face. The alien is saying it to his companion.
