This thread will contain all the Techniques and Abilities used by different characters in both parts of The Breaker. I have listed the techniques as used by the characters. Thus, they can be browsed through easily, making it easy to recognize the practitioner of the technique(s) and the techinque(s) itself.

Black Heaven Technique

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong

The former head of Martial Arts Alliance (MAA) was desperate to learn this technique. What we know about Black Heaven Technique is its a special Ki circulation technique. It was passed down to Unwol by his master and in turn Unwol taught it to Goomoonryong.

Black Origin Threshold

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong and Unwol

Hyun Wonji Gyung is the purest form of the Black Heaven & Earth Technique. Once the practitioner enters in Black Origin Threshold, the practitioner lose control of himself and goes in a berserk state, marked by uncontrollable rage. Other than Goomoonryong, only his master Unwol entered Black Origin Threshold.

Full Body Barrier

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong and Kangsung

A versatile technique that can be used both for defense or offense. The technique is executed by turning the toward the opponent. The back is protected by a large circular distribution of Ki. The distribution of Ki resembles a force field or like a shield. Anyone making contact with his Ki shield, is forced back aggressively.

We have seen Goomoonryong using this technique for an offensive maneuver, while Kangsung used it for his defense.

Focus Stomp

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong and Kangsung

One leg is used to stomp the ground. This technique can even crush concrete. On a human, it can rip through flesh and bone. Both Goomoonryong and Kangsung has shown high level use of this technique.

Soul-Crushing Strike

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong and Yi Shioon

A synchronized circulation of Ki through the body and then releasing it through the fist. The focused Ki releasing through the punch can deliver fatal blow to the opponent.

Cry of the Phoenix

Known Practitioner(s) : Goomoonryong
Its a sound technique. The practitioner can create ripples of sound waves.

Full Body Barrier (Hwanhwan Shinbo in Korean)

A defensive-offensive technique where the back, turned toward the opponent, is protected by a large circular distribution of Ki resembling a shield. Opponents who come in contact with the Ki are forcefully sent flying backwards

The technique that is a Gwongyuk of the Heavenly Way School. The force of this attack is so great it can send an opponent flying and imbed them into any physical structure the opponent crashes into. It is said that it is almost impossible to take the blow and survive.

The Black Origin Threshold signifies the moment when one surpasses the limits of the consciousness and the subconsciousness, the enemy & the self, and becomes the purest "Mu" (Fighting Spirit). Black Origin Threshold is the essence of the Black Heaven & Earth technique, but at the same time, it is the greatest fault. Those who have attained the threshold in the past were all swallowed up by animal-like emotions, and lost their sense of the self.

Chaotic Heavens Destruction Strike(MangaCow)/Obscured Heaven Annihilation Strike(A-Team)

Start the Ki-Circulation and take 3 steps back. at this point you are starting to accumulate your ki fo the release step
You gather the three Ki's flowing in your body into one place for the attack
Circulate your ki along the Red Heaven Twelfth Path
anything after that will depend on the situation but this is how it normally goes.

What are your favorite technique(s) so far in the series?

Foot techniques are my favorite becouse looking at Shioon's master multiply or Sera twisting Jinnie's arm.
I was "Wow" !!!

But I'm still wondering myself:

Was Shioon able to learn techniques his master left him at the phone as a video and than delete the video or he just left his video without deleting it?

The big mistery is also if his master left him just the black heaven - technique or were there also others?

PS: I hope some day Shioon would master martial arts to the point where he would be able to defeat "some" master level opponents without using "ki", than I hope his ki center would be restored and Shioon would use god like techniques.

My favourite technique so far is the Focus Stomp...the power of the technique is soo impressive...
Also I would sure like to see some techs from Heavenly Way...they are one of the most powerful clans in the Alliance...even the bodyguards are said to be on different level

Not really a technique, per say, but something interesting I noticed but never bothered saying till now.

The pose that Asian Kimbo Slice teaches Shiwoon resembles the pose that KangSung took when about to fight GMR. Which is obvious, since it's considered a "basic pose".

But Sera is apparently able to figure out that Shiwoon is affiliated with the SunWoo simply by looking at the pose, implying that there are differences in said pose.

For instance, the pose Shiwoon took has his other hand down to his waist and held slightly back, whereas KangSung's pose has his hand held next to his face and somewhat more forward.

Also, Giju, who's from the same school as KangSung, strikes a much different pose when preparing to fight GMR, with no fist held forward.

Foot Techniques are surely one of my favorites along with the Focus Stomp. Full Body Barrier is also very versatile technique.

Personally i like the Double Dragon Chain Dance. It looks so awesome. There aren't any serious preparations for the technique. It would be cool if Shioon learns it.

i think Shioon will learn all of those Techs after his Ki Center is fixed and i think the Sunwoo clan will teach Shioon a lot of techs and they will be surprised that he the tech that they teach is 10x more powerful than normal like Kang-Sung's Split Heaven Kick

and also i like to see Elder Jeon's face when he sees Shioon learning their Techs in a short amount of time like 1-2 days (while other people can master it more that a year or 2 )and he already mastered it and they will tell to themselves that Shioon is 10x greater than Hyuk So-Chun Chundomoon's Heir

Favorite technique would have to be the 뇌격권 (Lightning Strike Fist) by the SunWoo clan. I just like everything about it - the pose you strike before jumping into the air, accompanied by the loud sound of the world telling you just how fucked you are, jumping so quickly and high that your foes don't even realize you're gone until the last second, sticking to the wall like some sorta crazy oriental Spider-Man while still keeping your fist in the same position you had before you jumped (in the case of Yi GyuBum, at least) and then landing the blow that sings to the world of the coming destruction and doom of all evil, the choir sung in the thousand voices of the pure and innocent glorifying all that is good in the world.

The technique made an impression on me ever since it's first appearance. It's sufficiently flashy, when compared to the Soul Crushing Strike which appears at first glance to be little more than a strong punch, but not overly so, like those techniques that are just a flurry of hits. What those say with a flurry, the Lightning Strike Fist yells out just once, loud enough to make an impact and strong enough to dispel the illusions and falsehood of the world.

There was also the Bone crushing strike, which can break a persons bones without hurting their skin. Was all the way at the beginning of part 1, and with the way it was described im pretty sure it is different from soul crushing strike.

Actually, that is Soul Crushing Strike. It was translated like that in the first volume, but changed later.

yeah thats the one, but it seems bone crushing and soul crushing strike are the same thing.
