onigiri's unconventional road is pwning nike's jade road... like omg, wow. though i really wonder how long onigiri can last once nike starts to play really dirty and use his knife or something

Nike isn't using the full extent of his road so he's still got some tricks to use. He used the gem vibrations and the pile tornado that's it. This is the battle where the big bad wins over the most powerful member of the good guys so he looks unbeatable.

I did notice one thing though Nike couldn't follow Onigiri after he dodged the pile tornado. Makes me wonder if he's unable to read rider script like Kiric can.

Most probably Onigiri would force Nike to retreat for now and join up with his brother Sora.
The reason i think that because right now it would be really dificult for Nike to defeat Onigiri unless he finds a way to erase the mental image which Onigiri has about him. Also there is probably only around 10 minutes left till the ship sinks. So Nike is porbably going to bail out and leave brainwashed Rika with the original Thorn Regalia as the Final Boss for the ship.

Most likely Nike is getting affected by Onigiri's Smell which is causing him some problems.

If Nike's battle level is well over Ongiri's then it wouldn't be that difficult for him to beat Onigiri. We haven't seen Nike go all out in this battle, he seems to be playing like he did with Aeon and Spitfire.
Kiric doesn't consider him extremely dangerous for no reason.
Plus the fight with Rika has to be emotional and drawn out so Onigiri has to be taken out so it's up to Ikki and possibly Ringo. With Onigiri still in the game the battle with Rika is like 5 seconds of cheesy fan service.
On the 10 minute time limit you're assuming OG isn't going back and showing the fight before the time limit. This battle started before the whole ship sinking thing so this battle could be OG going back and showing what happened.

Plus if Ongiri forces Nike to retreat that would make the battle with him and Sora really lame. Everybody can just focus on Sora while Onigiri beats Nike again.

That would only work if Rika would be in her right mind after the brain washing and would try to oppose Onigiri's advances. Remember Onigiri would fail and not be able to do a thing if there is no reaction from the opposing real girl (example for this would be his fight against the girl who was killed by Nike before he started fighting Onigiri).

Plus if Ongiri forces Nike to retreat that would make the battle with him and Sora really lame. Everybody can just focus on Sora while Onigiri beats Nike again.

Not unless Onigiri is forced to battle someone else during the final battle and gets taken out there.

We have to remember that as both Nike and Sora are twins they are both going to fight as a team when up against Ikki.

So, even if Onigiri ends up in the fight against Nike & Sora he would be easily defeated because even he won't be able to handle both of them at once (even if he uses his imagination to change there looks to girls).

Also another fact is the as long as Onigiri keeps his mental image of Nike intact, his power level is most likely similar to that of Nike (remember what Hako said about both Sora and Nike having a power level of more than 300 each).

This makes me wonder, who do you think is going to have the final battle against Nike? Both Kazu and Agito have reasons to fight him.

As much as I don't like Onigiri I hope Nike loses just for the simple fact is then Kiric can get his regalia back.

Yeah yeah OhGreat! we get it. Onigiri is just as powerful as the rest of Koga. I was ok with the last chapter sort of being a segway (spelling?) into another fight whilst Onigiri inevitably buys time.

As it stands, I'm only getting bored of Onigiri showing off when it's still beyond obvious Nike will win. At least if the remainder of Koga were heading his way, he might stay around for the final battle, but as it appears it's almost like OhGreat! is trying to get rid of Onigiri first for some reason?

So yeah. Still can't see Nike not winning, and if we are in some way wrong it wouldn't even be a good plot twist.

Not saying I don't like Onigiri. He's like 75% of the ecchi here, so bless him. It's just not good plot to take out the main boss with the non-main character.

I dont quite get your post... you say its bad plot for a non-main to take out a main badguy, but you agree Nike wont lose to Onigiri. So wheres the bad plot of Onigiri fighting Nike?

I dont see the harm of Onigiri fighting Nike for more than one chapter...its obvious this is his peak before the inevitable crash. How is it more entertaining for Nike to beat down on Onigiri when hes taken down harder foes, isnt it more interesting to have Onigiri to rise to the occasion?

Not to mention, many people have wanted to see what Onigiri does against a king-lvl instead of always queens...

Holy shit Nike did something smart he figured out Onigiri's road. Who knew Nike had a brain. Also why does the first page say Jet Road, is that a mistranslation of Jade Road?

For a pervert, Onigiri can say some nice things. That part about a girl's smile being a miracle was a nice line.

Also, it's interesting to see that he did simulations to correct the weakness of his trick in the worst case scenario. That's good thinking there. Not bad, pig.
