Wasn't the soul crushing strike something that only Shioon, Goomoonryong and the former chief of the Alliance know to do?

See my post above: According to chapter 7 of The Breaker, "only a few knows how to use it", so there's soem room for there to be others than the Alliance Chief or Goomoonryong that can use it. However, let's keep in mind that it's Junho who assumes that it's Soul Crushing Stike here, and Junho isn't a master unlike Hyuk So Chun, so I think we shouldgive some room for doubt here, as it may simply be a technique tha imitates Soul Crushing Strike...

I don't like the the decision to bring this guy back... that "old foe came back stronger" cliche

It's a risky move on the part of the author, especially as Shioon's now AGAIN in an underdog spot with the guy...

This story seems to have no clear movement.

The old wrinkly guy wanted Shioon as the head because he was weak and couldn't fight so he would make a great puppet and be easily manipulated. Who knows why he even wanted to manipulate him, to what end. I don't know what he wants for the Sunwoo but having a weak or dead head can't help it.

So after he wants to manipulate him he allows him to go to a fight where he wanted him untrained and no help to arrive basically to get beaten to a pulp. Now he wants him to die.

come on, lets have some consistency here. We are 26 chapters in and the only thing we know is the existence of SUC, some group was out for revenge on 9arts dragon, and the sunwoo guy wants Shioon dead. This all could have legitimately been done in 10 chapters.

Hmm... I'm thinking that either Shioon wakes up or will mumble something in his sleep that'll make Jinie stop it. Not much room for someone interrupting, really, but... Are they at Shioon's home now? Then I could see Jinie being interrupted by Shioon's mother coming home...

the story is moving well: Shioon is getting stronger, the old geezer want his head, an unknown faction is disturbing the murim (S.U.C) , the S.U.C have prolly something to do with GMR (shioon old master), one member of the S.U.C is Shioon old nemesis, and Sera ( prolly shioon future ally) is against the S.U.C, and there is a doctor who know a way to make Shioon stronger. I like the pace and the story is moving well and its even better than the part 1, there is alot of misteries. Lets just say thing didnt happen like u want and u're disappointed

He didn't exactly want a weak head. It was more like he wanted an obedient/docile head, a puppet who would listen to him and/or the other elders orders, instead of it being the other way around, as the elders are required to obey the head. At first, he thought Shioon would simply shatter under the pressure. Then, he thought that Shioon would realize just how impossible it is for someone like him to face someone like Yoo Ji-Gun and ask for Sunwoo's protection instead (which would be graciously granted to him in exchange for following whatever directions the elders gave him). However, by now he has realized that Shioon won't crack under any pressure nor get into the elders debt by asking for the Sunwoo clan's protection. In short, he has now come to the conclusion that it's better than Shioon dies so that a new head can be elected, one which is hopefully more easily controlled, because he knows he won't be able to control Shioon.

Actually I doubt the SUC have anything to do with GMR and like Kichiku said I bet it is the old alliance chief who taught him that fake version. Also I bet that the real head of the SUC is the old Allianc Chief who created the group because he now wants revenge on the Alliance and Murim and probably gathered followers by saying something like he is the one who taught GMR everything he knows and his proof is that Soul Crushing Strike so like LoS said it is actually kind of predictable though I am still holding on to the hope that the author has something amazing planned

a) Old dude wanted to manipulate Shiwoon.
a1) Shiwoon is unable to fight, thus physically weak.
a2) Shiwoon seems kinda 'soft' and is new to the world. He's somewhat naive to the way the world works, and thus might be easily manipulated.
a3) Shiwoon is sorta famous for being the disciple of the Nine Arts Dragon. Also, he led a (somewhat) solo rampage in order to find his teacher. The events of "The Breaker" made him sorta famous.

b) Plans to get Shiwoon to agree to become SunWoo clan leader.

c) First attempt is to just ask, because it's polite.
c1) Shiwoon refuses.

d) Second attempt is to let Shiwoon get the shit beaten outta him then have Jini save him, making it clear to Shiwoon that he needs the SunWoo's protection. He wants Shiwoon to be broken and beg for their protection.
d1) Jini saves Shiwoon too early because in her own words, "fucker had a sword".
d2) Shiwoon ends up going to the SunWoo clan, and rejects the offer to be head again.
d3) Old man decides to keep using this plan, telling Jini to interfere only when Shiwoon is in danger of dying.

e) Jigun and Sera appear. Shiwoon's life in danger.
e1) Jini urges Shiwoon to go to clan for protection.
e2) Shiwoon refuses, and in classic Shiwoon manner, challenges Jigun to a fight.
e3) Shiwoon can't really fight cause no ki.
e4) Jini tells Shiwoon to accept offer and learn to get ki back and learn to fight.
e5) Shiwoon doesn't wanna become clan head, but is told that he can't learn martial arts unless he joins as clan head, as he already has a martial arts master (Nine Arts Dragon).
e6) Shiwoon joins. Jubilation!
e7) Now, just get Shiwoon tired as fuck. Elder Kimbo Slice's job is to break Shiwoon's will and body.
e8) Doesn't work, Shiwoon gets better next day and still wants to fight.
e9) Tries again next day.
e10) Doesn't work again you fucker a ha ha ha ha ha ha.
e11) Tries again.
e12) STILL DOESN'T WORK WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
e13) Shiwoon ends up bringing Asian Kimbo Slice to his side. Obviously not as weak or manipulable as originally thought.
e14) Quickly becoming a problem. Not worth the effort, but Shiwoon has already become the clan head by this point. Needs to get rid of Shiwoon.
e15) Solution - let Shiwoon get offed by Jigun and Sera and Co. Prevents Asian Kimbo Slice from going and helping Shiwoon.
e16) YOU DON'T GET IT OLD MAN DO YOU IT'S NOT GONNA WORK YOU FUCKER.
e17) Tells Jini to get rid of Shiwoon as last resort.

f) SunWoo no longer has ShiWoon as clan head.

g) ????

h) PROFIT!
