[2011/10/01-03] MH Euromeet 2011 in Copenhagen

Okay so we've been discussing a possible meet later this year and we've decided upon Germany as the host country.

We need to decide on a city for the meet and then work out the accomodation, which will most likely be a hostel since it's cheaper. We'll need German MHers for this as they would most likely know what is best.

There's also another kinda get-together in Blai's town Vaxjo in September when I'm going to visit Blai and Imp, all those who want to come along are also welcomed.

Ok so let's get planning and if we can have a list of all those who want to attend on this first list and keep adding to it just so we know who's interested.

I don't know where the German MH members live, but I suppose it would be better to chose a town a MH member lives in? So S/He can show us around and stuff.

Though I, personally, would like to go to one of the bigger cities.

Yeah I'd like a big city too. I've got an uncle that lives in Bochum but that's a small town and I couldn't tell you where that is cos I've never been there.

We need to get this thread more attention so we can attract more people here and hopefully some of those will be Germans.

I'm very skeptical this will really lead to anything, but it would be very interesting. Though I doubt I can afford a trip to Germany, especially with uni starting. But on other hand to my knowledge Ryanair does fly their cheap flies from here to Bremen and Frankfurt.

I'd like to come to Växjö, but it's like in the middle of nowhere, according to google maps. My airport only got a Götenburg/Stockholm connection, and no idea how to find that tiny place from there.

Umm Småland Airport is there and it has excellent connections with Stockholm/Malmö/Kobenhavn through train.

Växjö would relatively cheap and easy for me, but as pointed out, it's middle of no where. It's not a very attractive destination.

If I go to Växjö I was also thinking that airplane + train is the way to go.

Is the train company(or whatever) in Sweden called SJ or something?
