Since we have a thread for 80’s Music, I thought it would be cool to also have one for music from the 90’s. So with that in mind, what are your favorite songs from the 90’s? What are your favorite bands/artists from the 90’s?
Here are some of my favorite 90’s songs:
Roxette - It Must Have Been Love (1990)
Phil Collins - Another Day In Paradise (1990)
Jon Secada - Just Another Day (1992)
Ace of base - Don't turn around (1994)
Bon Jovi – Always (1994)
Hehe. My fave period of music comes from the 80's and 90s, even though i wasn't born then. I blame my father.
Bryan Adams:I do it for you 1991
Ronan Keating http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuJrEBtmM1Q 1999
New Radicals You Get what you give 1998
...It's soo hard finding JUST 90's songs. Some of the good stuff trickles into the 00's or slips into the 80's.
Great song, and very romantic as well.Quote:
Well…I guess I also need to mention those 90’s songs I used to dance to:
Haddaway - What Is Love
Dr. Alban - It's My Life
La Bouche - Sweet Dreams
And of course : Los Del Rio - La Macarena
I also danced to it while being in elementary school; I remember dancing the macarena with a couple of my classmates in front of the whole class for some kind of project we had to do.Quote:
Here are more 90’s songs :
1992 - I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston)
1994- I Swear (All-4-One)
1995- Kiss From a Rose (Seal)
Only All for One have had more songs, but even then, only a few...
But serioiusly, that Kiss from a Rose is the BOMB! Far, out, I keep hearing it on my local radio, but the song name has been eluding me forever. Thanks so much
Anyways, some of my faves
Dido - Thank you (1999)
Faith Hill - This Kiss (1998)
Celine Dion - My heart will go on (1997)
I could probably find more, but I'm getting worried by the fact that all my purported 90's songs that I remember hearing are actually all from the last few years of the nineties, rather than being spread across the decade. Why is that?
Oh well, I'm loving what you're giving me, anyway.
Ah, HAddaway had another single, a ballad called I miss you. And i only like that song from him. -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGKID6kcfxw
Whitney Houston started in the 80's. But her carreer went downhill after The Bodyguard soundtrack success.
My favorites from the 90's have to be my eternal love aka Bon Jovi, the first two albums by Green Day, Backstreet Boys (yes, i had my boyband moment back then), U2 and Roxette.
Fav songs always change through the year, so it's hard to pick one from each.

I'm quite young, but I do know some music from the 90's though
Classic right here
20 years later and this is still uncomfortable to listen to.
