It seems that the DGM page in SQ was also updated. I haven't read it in detail but it's basically a summarization of what had happened until now.
You can find the summary and simple character profiles there:

Mr. 115 is alive and well. Even posted a message an hour ago. He is indeed at work, and doesn't have SQ Jump at hand.:/
Come on, Mr. 115 can't be the only one in Japan with a copy and internet access?
Perhaps he likes seeing people whine and squirm about it?
It's seven o'clock over there. Isn't the poor guy home yet?
EDIT: Lolz to the cat. It seems they're happy for Mr.150?

This was recently posted on 2ch. Does anyone know what this supposed to mean?
Erm, I think it's a collaborative promotion by Jump SQ and a convenience store chain called 'Circle K Sunkus' where they'll provide limited edition book covers for two issues of SQ (Jan and Feb issues) if you buy those off their stores.
So Kanda+Allen is limited edition vol19? Since that pic says vol19 on the bottom. And the other cover Allen+Road+Tykki is the regular one? Or its a Cover-pullover? That you put around the original cover. I only know the dutch word for it ^^.
Anyways hmm i like the back belt with the lill Timcanpy on it...i like anything with Timcanpy ^^.
^ The Kanda & Allen pic is the limited edition cover pullover,
but I think it's supposed to fit around the magazine and not the tankouban.Looks like it is for the tankouban after all.
Oh, and I think the bit next to the vol19 cover says that the continuation of vol19 starts on page 173 of the upcoming SQ issue. Guess that means that vol19 is from chap 182 to 188.

Hmm i thought more like it would have 189 as well asuming the nr of pages for each chapter. The old chapters got roughly 15-17 pages, the Akumaru 51 and SQ got 34(eliminating the extra stuff)
All volumes got 10-11 chapters from the Jump chapters. 182-186 are normal size. That would be 5 regular chapters still need 6 (in size ofc) taking SQ is roughly double size id say 187(special) is 3 and 188 is 2 making 5 total.
chapter lists per volume
each vol will be 5 chapters from now on i guess. So instead of every 10-11weeks we go to every 5 months a volume.... (hates the thought lol)
Hope it will increase the quality in some way.
Here is the special announcement from 2ch:
It looks like it's an illustration collection of some sort.Quote:
Thanks, aorin, for the translation! m(_ _)mQuote:

i think the mods need to seriously consider separating the spoilers thread and the spoiler discussion thread
i know this has been considered in the past and not implemented due to low amount of posts but as this chapters spoilers have proved it would become necessary to separate the theads
already it is becoming difficult to wade through the pages searching for spoilers
please consider this...
Have just gone through some Japanese DGM fan blogs and found out a few things (note that all links are Japanese):
+ D.Gray-man will be featured at the "Super Studio" stage of Jump Festa 2010. (4th pic down from the TOPIC heading)
- DGM things to be had there are: clear folders, Kanda's soba with a bromide card included (limited), seals (as part of SQ's Quality compilation seals) and premium replicas of DGM original drawings.+ Hoshino made an illustration contribution to the Tegami Bachi handbook.
I think it's a picture of Eliade? The picture of Eliade they were talking is confirmed to be from the Kochikame manga's anniversary book. They did not say what exactly was drawn in the Tegami Bachi handbook.
Also, it's a bit late over here but:
Happy Birthday Krory! (1/Dec)
Note: Edited info on Hoshino's contributions.

Just shows DGM is still Big in Japan ^^
here is an interview of Hoshino sensai in SQ website, if Im not mistaken the interview will be updated on 4/12, 7/12, 10/12 and 14/12. You can also find her workplace in that page. Can someone translate it?
! They're releasing the interview from the December issue in parts with the pictures in colour! \o/ Guess this means I won't have to transcribe it from my copy then~
I'm afraid I'm short on time so here's an overview of whats in the whole interview:
-Brief comment on her illness
-Her life story-Parts of her past that influnced her to draw-Hoshino talks about her interests
-Insight into her aspirations and how she ended up an animator
-Events that led to her drawing her first manga for Jump
-Elaboration of the events back when she met her first editor (it's even more tragic than the comic she drew in the fanbook)
-Her beginnings with drawing manga
-Her thoughts while writing up DGM
-Comments on how drawing Allen's expressions is hard (I think most of you would get a kick out of a particular line)
-Short comment on how she hopes the ending of DGM will be like
- Her concerns with moving to SQ (it's mostly what I've posted earlier somewhere)
- Her words of apology and appreceation to fans.
(Sob. There's a piece of paper at the end that one can cut out and submit to try and win an autograph from Hoshino. The cut off date was the 3rd of December.)
Baidu has just translated the whole interview. Guess someone might be working on it and probably I would just bring out some important points here.
OMG, thanks so much, Hoshino !!!!Quote:
Hoshino likes to draw funny scenes /comedies to make her sister laugh.
Hoshino doesn't like any competition (thats why u'd better leave WSJ ) but often hears the criticisms/comments from her sister. (she mentioned a lot about her sister)
Hoshino was influenced a bit by Sailor Moon so she feels like she can draw any fancy she has.
The interview mainly focuses on Hoshino's past (>.>) so it would be more interesting to see something more than that next time/few days after.
thats the congratulatory illustration that Hoshino made for Naruto 10th Anniversary book.
