A Sunagakure missing nin and member of Akatsuki, Sasori of the Red Sand is a master puppeteer in every sense of the word - even to go as far as to turn himself into a Human Puppet. He is capable of controlling up to 100 puppets at a time, including, his prized puppet, the "Iron Sand" Kazekage. Along with a wide assortment of puppets at his disposal, Sasori also posses a high level of intellect that quickly allows him to analyze his opponents strengths and weakness, and create deadly poisons.

A noted genius and one of the last surviving members of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke has spent the majority of his life driven by a desire for power and revenge. While the target of his revenge has changed over time from his older brother Itachi to the Elders of Konoha, Sasuke remains resolute to eliminating anyone he perceives as standing in the way of his revenge. As a member of the formidable Uchiha clan, Sasuke possesses the renowned Sharingan and after receiving his brothers eyes, was able to gain the mysterious EMS. Sasuke uses his high intellect in battle to analyze his opponent and come up with tactics and traps to counter them. In addition, Sasuke employs his various Katon and Raiton ninjutsu along with some skilled swordsmanship to fight effectively against any opponent.

You know, I used to give the win to Sasori in these fights (if anyone remembers my "Sasuke runs the gauntlet" thread in the Konohagakure Arena), but it was only because Sasuke likely couldn't avoid every poisonous weapon, and I didn't buy the "Sasuke is immune to poison" stuff Kakashi was spouting. But, nowadays I don't have the same opinion.

I still think he's not immune to poison... but I think that his Sharingan allows him to win this fight thanks to it's ability to see chakra. He'll see the big glowing chakra canister in his chest and realize instantly that all his strings were coming from that one source. Take out the source, you take out the enemy.

Even if Sasuke's body gets paralyzed with poison, his Susanoo won't be paralyzed, and he can use it to lay waste to everything nearby, longrange or no.

Yeah, Sasuke wins comfortably.

Sasori doesn't stand a chance to someone like Sasuke , that is clearly one of the strongest shinobis nowadays ! Though Sasori is very strong , there is nothing he can do against someone like Sasuke , that has FMS , though so far we have only see the MS . There isn't a thing that he can do against such powerful techniques , like Amateratsu and Susano. Though Sasori can send a lot of attacks at the same time against Sasuke , his sharingan will see through it , so i am sad to see Sasori going out of the competition so soon .

Sasuke wins with little trouble. The Sharingan would allow him to see the "real" Sasori and using his ranged techniques can get Sasori before Sasori can poison him or trap him.

I'm so sorry for my beloved Sasori,but sasuke now is too strong,he has surpassed itachi! anyway,I don't think sasuke is immune from every poison,although he would die against Sasori's one but he would resist more than normality. his sharingan doesn't allow him to read sasori's moves because the sharingan reads human body's movements,and kunai aren't of this kind. but his sharingan can see Sasori's wires of chakra.he's too fast and too strong,and with susanoo Sasori's attacks would be vain.

^I disagree about him being incapable of reading the movements. Sakura managed to read the movements and she didn't even have the Sharingan. He'd notice the movements of his fingers if his other puppets were ever summoned the same way that Sakura did, only possibly more easily, as his fighting style revolves around reading the opponent.

As much as I hate sasuke, I still think he will win in this fight. The only way sasori can actually stand a chance is if he have some kind of deadly poison gas.

Sasuke wins, which sucks because Sasori is an awesome character, but Sasuke wouldn't have to do much to find the real Sasori and snipe him with a Sussano arrow or Ameratsu.

Not to mention, I think Sasuke is capable of dodging and blocking everything Sasori throws at him since he has the Sharigan and is loads faster than Sakura is, and she did pretty well for herself.

sasuke goes susanoo and spams a few amaterasus or covers his body/susanoo with amaterasu(like vs raikage) and rushes trough the 100 puppets burns them all to ashes, burn down kazekage puppet and wins like in an instant :x

if he had normal MS then it would take a bit time but he would still win
and without any (e)ms it would be a cool fight, he would have trouble, using many tactics and then win(it would take time like against deidara or even more)

but with ems he is to much hax :x

I really think he is one of the best ninjas out there.
Sasuke wins without a doubt. He has Amatersu to burn all of Sasori's puppets and a bunch of other things that would wreck Sasori.

Does sasuke knows that the haruko is a puppet and the real sasori is inside.? and does sasuke knows that sasori was using a weapons that has a poison.? All of you sound that sasuke has alot of knowledge on sasori.. Sasuke will not fight first on sasori using his MS power. He was always rushing on "things" and im pretty sure sasuke will attack sasori head on using his sword.. One hit and sasuke will be dead.. and i doubt the sharingan can see all the attack of sasori's.. His mouth, his hand can fire a lot of needle's poison..

genjutsu is useless against sasori.. sasuke will be dead before he can used his MS.. But still, sasuke will definitely win in this tournament.. no doubt about it..

Sharingan sees chakra. As I said before, he can see where the massive orb of chakra is originating from. Sasuke's fought a kugutsu specialist before, but it wasn't any significant fight.

Also, Sasuke doesn't need to start with MS, when he can start with a raiton charged sword. It'll shred through any chakra screens (that he'll see thanks to the Sharingan) and carve up Hiruko or any other puppet without fail.

Well, that would be a fight I'd like to see.
But, I guess that as strong as Sasuke is now, it would be quickly over.

Even with the EMS, I think that Sasuke would ultimately win, so there's definitely no hesitation on my part.

Kisame and Sasori got it bad way too early in this tournament. Sasuke wins due to easily being Kage level at this point. Oh and being Sasuke.

Sasuke wins but certainly not as easy as most think. Sasori is definitely not a pushover and simply knowing where the real Sasori is won't automatically win the battle for Sasuke. Sakura and Chiyo knew from the start where the real one was yet they were still overwhelmed.

From the poison gases to the poisoned weapons, Sasuke is going to have to keep his guard up constantly with Susano'o or constantly avoiding all those attacks which will definitely wear him out. Eitherway, he wins with difficulty as he has the skill set necessary to win it.
