Sasori vs Sasuke

I don't think Sasuke would need to the mangekyo sharingan to win this fight. Adding to what others have said, Sasuke defeated 1000 ninja without injury, so 100 puppets would be a warm for him.

But sasori's 100 puppets can also kill those 1000(?) ninjas.. and maybe your forgetting something that those puppets are flying on the air..

Imagine, 100 puppets with different kinds of weapons with poison, are going to attack sasuke in any angle at the same time. ofcourse sasuke will definitely use the susanoo to protect himself.. And what's next.? shooting those puppets with his arrows.?

Even though I hate Sasuke he wins this one. It's too obvious, cause Sasori doesn't have anything that will counter Sasuke's trolling Sharingan.

^I disagree about him being incapable of reading the movements. Sakura managed to read the movements and she didn't even have the Sharingan. He'd notice the movements of his fingers if his other puppets were ever summoned the same way that Sakura did, only possibly more easily, as his fighting style revolves around reading the opponent.

Sakura was able to read Sasori in the sense that all puppeters got a weakness where they move there fingers and then the puppets themselfs move.

If this situation occurs and Sasuke resorts to Susanoo, it means he's using his Mangekyou. With his Sharingan, he'll be able to see the chakra strings originating from the heart in the Sasori puppet. All he needs is one arrow straight through the heart and its all done. He can ignore the 100 and be done with it.

If Kakashi had to resort to Kamui because he was unable to dodge Susanoo arrows, then Sasori (who has the same speed stat from the databooks) won't be able to dodge either while also not having a way to avoid the attack.

I will go with Top tier easiest fight: Sasuke with MS wins this. Susano'o <mainly for me> it just TOO much for Sasori : ( IF it was Hebi Sasuke <the one with CS>, I always put Sasori above. And I strictly say it: Sasuke wins this because of Susano'o.

btw. really, somewhat sad that Sasori will be out of tournament. I would definitely see him fight different opponent and winning <especially if it wouldn't be Sharingan user> : (

Sasuke wins this. The Sharigan and Amaterasu should be enough to take out Sasori. If that doesnt work then Susanoo. I would have liked to see this in the manga. I liked Sasori's character and if they put him up against Sasuke back then before he obtained MS, then that would have been a great fight.

Poor Sasori. First you get trolled by Kishi in your ET form and now by the tourney organizers for matching you up with Sasuke in the first round. My favorite puppet master just can't catch a break.

Sasuke easily wins this match. Susanoo's defenses can't be overwhelmed by numbers and Sasuke can pinpoint Sasori's location with the sharingan's ability to see chakra. He even has some resistance to poison. Sasuke has great counters for all of Sasori's abilities.

Sasuke couldn't read Killer Bee's movements, even with his Sharingan activated. And it's just one ninja. I doubt Sasuke would be able to deflect every single attack from 100 puppets in order to not get poisoned. Though the poison kills you in 3 days, it still affects you practically instantly (vs. Kankurou). This is the best puppeteer of all time. Sasori's no fool, either. Also, if his grandmother faced an Uchiha before, he'd more than likely knows its abilities. Plus, Itachi was in Akatsuki. So Sasori at least has a clue on the Sharingan.

Sasuke can spam Susano'o all he wants, a cloud of poison mist is still gonna get through. Sasuke can spam Susano'o and Amaterasu but he's not nearly as fast enough to get every single puppet with arrows or fire. Sasori's practically immortal. He's also super fast. Even when Chiyo used her ultimate sealing technique, he was still able to hop to another puppet. He can do the same if his body were to get hit by Susano'o or Amaterasu. He's probably got some weird way of having senses, so I doubt Tsukoyomi can affect him (being as he doesn't technically have any eyes).

Sasuke's got skills now. Yet, all Sasori needs is for Sasuke to breathe once, or get so much as a nick from a puppet. Also, Sasori has his Kazekage puppet, whose sand is also poisoned. I doubt Sasuke would be able to avoid grains of sand.

Let's face facts. The only reason Sasori was defeated was because he was facing his grandmother and a badass Sakura. Plus, he was distracted at the last minute by his parents. Also, Saskura had prepared antidotes before-hand. Otherwise, Sasori would've won that match the second he pulled out the Kazekage puppet.

Sasuke, on the hand, never won any major battle in the series so far on his own except for Naruto at the Valley of End. Deidara took himself out. Itachi let himself be beaten. Killer Bee took advantage of the situation to flee, when the Hachibii clearly said that he had the upperhand. Danzou wasn't able to use Shisui's eye, granted, but he underestimated Sasuke and that was his downfall. Sasuke was saved from A thanks to Gaara. Sasuke was saved from Mei thanks to Zetsu. Sasuke was saved from Oonoki thanks to Madara. The list goes on and on.

That's why I voted for Sasori (even though I can clearly see from what I've read that he's bound to lose here). Oh well...

It's obvious Kishi likes some characters more than others (Shika, Naruto, Gaara, Sasuke, etc are among his favourites).

Sasuke is mega broken right now. Amaterasu would probably be enough to take Sasori down.

Hey, I'm not saying I like it, I'm just sayin that's how it is, Naruto isn't a very balanced manga, much like Bleach (One piece is decent).

Are you implying that Sasori is as fast as Killerbee, or as skilled of a melee combatant? Cause he hasn't shown it.

It's not necessary to deflect each attack. Blocking with Susanoo, flying out of range (hawk summon), or simply outrunning them all are options. And he doesn't need to know that the weapon is poisoned inorder to feel a need to block an onslaught of attacks.

If I remember correctly Sasori starts in Hiruko. If he even manages to get to use all of his puppets after being forced out of it, it isn't necessary to take down every puppet as he can see where the one leader is based on the chakra canister in it's chest where all the strings originate from.

Sure, he can transfer the canister to each other body, but Sasuke can follow if needed.

Genjutsu likely wouldn't work, no. But his Chidorigatana can cut chakra strings aswell as shred anything Sasori has access to as a weapon. The instantaneous nature of Susanoo also makes surprise attacks an unguaranteed advantage aswell.

Again, the poison doesn't kill instantly, and it hasn't shown an ability to interrupt his chakra control. Even if he was instantly paralyzed his Susanoo wouldn't be, leaving him the ability to coat his Susanoo in Amaterasu and smash everything in sight. As for the speed of his Susanoo arrows, you forget that it took an S/T jutsu for Kakashi to manage blocking them, as they were too fast for a ninja of his speed (and he's not slow by any stretch of the word) to dodge.

I don't think anyone here disagrees. But Sasuke is NOT Sakura. Nor Chiyo. So it doesn't matter. We're not saying he's fodder. Just that he can't beat Sasuke.

He defeated Deidara at every turn, which caused him to flee his potential death by Sasuke's hand. He won alright. No one lended a hand against Danzou (he figured out his secret with Karin's help), no one lended a hand against Orochimaru (he chose to kill him on his deathbed), he owned an army of Curse Seal monsters, he killed a platoon of samurai, and fought Raikage, the strongest ninja in Kumogakure, to a draw when they were fighting one-on-one.

As for Mizukage, he was friggin' chakra exhausted and outnumbered.

That's why I voted for Sasori (even though I can clearly see from what I've read that he's bound to lose here). Oh well...

So your argument is "Sasuke would totally get scratched eventually, and then he'll lose the fight"? I used to have the same opinion, until I realized that Sasori doesn' thave any attacks that can pierce Susanoo if he ever needed to, and that Sasuke capable of using a number of powerful attacks from within said perfect defense. After realizing that it didn't make sense to doubt his victory anymore.

As Sasuke as the amateratsu and susano their isn't really much of a discussion , those jutsus are just away to powerful.

Amaterasu is nothing to Sasori - yeah, once a puppet of his or him is hit, it will be "vanished" either way sooner or later, BUT Sasori can just put himself in different body and thats all. Not to mention that if he manages to pull 100 puppets, its harder for Sasuke to make eye contact with Sasori methinks. Nah, Sasori is actually a bad match-up for Amaterasu, imo. Its Susano'o which is the main problem here: Sasuke can defense and attack at the same time.

SASUKE WINS!!!! I dont know how this is even debatable, Sasori is a legendary ninja I'll give him that, but as someone else mention the Sharingan can see chakra, the jig would be up the moment Sasuke activates his Sharingan and avoiding Sasori's 100 puppet would be easy because the Sharingan gives the user the ability to predict an opponents movements 2 - 4 seconds before they happen. Not to mention Sasuke was shown having defeated about 100 ninja (each with their own techs and weapons assortment) in one go, when training with Orochimaru, I'm sure a bunch of booby trap dolls wont do much better. I dont think Sasuke needs to use Susano'o to win this fight. His fire and lightning techs and amaterasu would be more than enough. Sasori isnt weak or anything I think this is just a text book case of BAD MATCH-UP.

Sasuke wins this! He can sharingan Sasori's puppet strings which is moved by chakra, and just cut it out through electricity with his lightning element. But, I don't think he's immune to poison, not Sasori's poison... It's one of the most potent poisons in Narutoverse, as Chiyo had described. Though, with Sasuke's speed and doujutsu, he can dodge the needles or what Sasori's spewing.

He can use his MS to finish the puppets straight up, and then Sasori's heart. Man, what a boring fight! I miss CS Sasuke. His fight with Deidara was hype because Sasuke had to really battle it out...
