The start of high school life. To the girls, that also meant the start of their love lives. For brand new first year student, Takahashi Nanami (Nana for short), it was no different... She happens to end up in the same class as the incredibly popular Yano Motoharu, who rumors say that two thirds of all the girls are guaranteed to fall in love with. But will that hold true for Nana, who says that if she had to choose between like or dislike, she'd say she dislikes him!?

It's quite a pity that there is a huge hunk about 3 volumes worth in the middle of the manga that's untranslated and unscanlated (though some groups are working on it now). I read this part raw since I *needed* to know what happened All in all this was a pretty good read. Even if the plot is rather cliche, Obata manages to make it quite realistic. You will really be taken on an emotional rollercoaster throughout the series.

The series is slated to end in 2012 and it will get a live-action movie then as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the series ends. As of where it is right now it's obvious the end is near. I just hope Obata doesn't troll us... MUST. HAVE. HAPPY. ENDING!

The manga is drawing to a close and I must say the suspense has been really frustrating! The latest chapter had Nanami falling down some stairs and ending up in hospital. I have a bad feeling about this, but I'm really hoping I'm wrong. Because the absolute worst cliche Obata-sensei can pull on us now would be to have Nanami lose her memories With Yano rushing back to see her now, I just want them to settle the issues between them once and for all (we've waited so long for this!) and not be met with yet another obstacle like Nanami losing her memories
