Haha loved how Shioon punched Changho. Though, I am afraid thats not the end of the fight. Without Ki, he is finding ways to survive. Having two teachers is really helping him. Needless to say, he is gaining experience with each encounter, that very well be the difference in life and death for him.

Couldn't have said it better myself. He really is creating his own style isn't he? His technique seems to rely heavily on being a one-hitter-quitter. Nothing wrong with that though. Taking down your opponent in as few moves as possible is practical. Without Ki he won't last long in a fight against some of the stronger fighters of Murim so taking them down in as few moves as possible is favorable.

Agreed, knowing you can't last if the fight goes longer, trying to take down your opponent in as few as strike possible is the wise choice. I am rather happy how the New Waves have been so far. Good argument. But is that even possible? I mean yeah I know this is a manga but even with that in mind, is it even possible to learn martial arts without Ki?

I believe that it is possible.

If you look at Jinie there were no signs that she was / is able to use any "ki" at all, but she is still one of the strongest, in fact she is the fifth strongest member of Shunwoo clan !!!

i think Jinie use a tech when she is saving Shioon from a gang or some sort i think he use thunder punch that yi gyu-bum did

an Shioon use it to on the fat guy who sucks air and his shoulders got dislocated

Shioon also use a stance called iron wall stance and i think it is a basic form of martial arts in Sunwoo clan

and i think Shioon is creating his own rendition of his masters techs making a new one

Do any of you agree that not having Ki and having to fight the stronger opponent could be the best training mode for him. With his life on the line, he is fighting to survive and thus making good use of his masters' teachings. Not only, the experience is invaluable, he is also learning how to cope with the circumstances.

hello! first time posting on this thread WOW this manhwa is definitely amazing...i really fell in love with it , glad i decided to give it a try
about this chapter what can i say except the fact that i'm proud of shioon ...he's doing a pretty good job and it's trying his best despite the fact that he can't do martial arts anymore...that was a pretty good punch but i think that bastard (their names are so hard to remember) won't go down with just that..
what i don't get is why chunwoo doesn't know anything about this S.U.C. organization 'cause i'm positive he doesn't know ...right ?? ....in the end his choice to save shioon by destroying his Ki center wasn't a very inspiring one after all he knew he won't be able to get him out from this murim world so at least he could do is concern himself with what's been happening to shioon....awww i really miss the times when that crazy sunsengnim was an active character in the story ~_~

i think chapter by chapter Shioon's Ki is returning to normal i read the part GMR explaining that Shioon needs a strong body to hold his ki in balance because every time Shioon use his ki his body began to burst like a fountain of blood and on this chapter when Shioon use a foot tech his foot splatered some blood i don't know if it is because he twist his foot so fast that the skin torn apart of he use a bit of ki on his foot just like he did when running away in the road with sosul

Babel fish is kind of my enemy sometimes. Sounds like the author is mad. And we will be getting a delayed chapter, except were all used to that. So it must be really delayed. If anyone wants to beat up babel fish to feel good. Here we go

I can see how it could have mistakenly gotten the "mad" part and to be honest it just makes me want to facepalm so hard at how much BabelFish failed.

EDIT: To put the time thing in perspective, I don't really pay attention to time zone differences but Breaker: New Waves has been coming out at around 3 ~ 4 pm (Korean time) for the past few weeks. So in other words it'll be around 2 ~ 3 hours later than usual, though as the author noted it may come earlier or later though given his track record I'd say later is a good bet.

I admit The breaker is one of those series that I'm eager to read the next chapter. Which is credit to the author for creating a wonderful series. I don't mind waiting for the chapter. I understand the author is trying his best and running into some problems once in a while.

Haha the problem is his art is too damn good! it takes him awhile to make it I assume. Goodness I logged on one last time to see if the chapter is out, and nothing still and it's almost 3am -.-
Oh well I can hope for a goddly chapter now, changho defeated or retreating and maybe shioon going back to sunwoo to be instated the head or getting his ki fixed.
