Rak always has the memorable quotes so far^^
Now that the three of them have made a pledge to their alliance. I'm really looking forward to who they will recruit in their team in order to climb the tower. I think they will be the first to ever climb up the tower with that many allies. And I also wonder if Koon got betrayed by Maria after she succeeded in becoming the Zahard princess....
This is the turning point of the story.
Baam now has a real goal set out to climb the tower.
Instead of just searching for Lahel. I assume he is going to carry her around with him in each floor from now on.
I don't understand why her legs will no-longer work? Her injures were not that serious?
The thing is that I didn't expect that her injury would turn out to be this serious. I think that Ho stabbed one of her arteries thus making her unable to move. But I think that was a plot device for the author in order for Baam to find a resolve to climb the tower.
Mmm most likely its a physcological disorder. She was standing the whole time Ho had the blade to her neck. When Ho attacked it was to the carotid artery I believe, so theres no way it should have affected her nervous system waist down. So its either a huge plot device that 1)she lost her legs 2)they now need money to heal people, yet they have been healing people for the rest of the tests. Still though im glad to see Baam is finally setting a goal for himself. Im kind of waiting for his attitude and bravery like against the electric eel he had at the start, seems he has always been doubtful and unsure since then.
Baam is going to carry Lahel around literally. Koon said he wants to include her in the last test, if she was going to stay behind that wouldn't matter....
(Suddenly I'm in mood to try some manhwa... )
Hello, everyone! I'll be the latest addition to readers of Tower of God. I've just started reading this series, has just gone through chapter 1, and I think this could be an interesting story. The art work, like what I felt when I saw Noblesse, feels different, yet not in a way I dislike it. Yoroshiku!
Indeed really good chapter. Who would have thought this teacher was on the villain side. The apparition of a secret society is promising, could he be the one who gave Ho the paper. I'm curious to learn how Koon knew it was not made by a regular.
And the flashback was interesting. Also it's still mysterious how Baam ended and survived in this cave in the first place
It was interesting to note that Baam realized that he was locked away there and could not leave.
I wonder how it is that Lahel enter there in the first place.
Another point that might be giving some clues on Baams background is that he built a tower and climbed to the top in his original world. This could be a clue or foreshadow of some-kind.
bah i enjoyed the chapter too but still too early to come to some conclusion about the teacher.
Is grump the only group doing Tower of God?
@phio_chan: Welcome to our ToG community. Our community is slowly increasing it's numbers which is a good thing^^
The chapter itself was kinda unexpected in a good way. I would never suspect that Baam's instructor would be a spy for Jahad!! If you pay close attention to the three crimson eyes then you will see that they are one and the same. We know that the Instructor's objective are to retrieve the two weapons and possibly recruiting the two princess. The flashback was a nice analogy for Lahel, who wants to climb up the Tower that bad.
