If Chouji is in danger, he's going to go to Butterfly mode and save himself. He has no restrictions placed on him, unlike Rock Lee.
What needs clarifying before any votes are cast:
Is Chouji capable of attaining butterfly (ssj) mode when he chooses?
If Chouji can attain butterfly (ssj) mode at will, then he wins.
If Chouji cannot attain butterfly (ssj) mode at will, then he loses.
this is going to be hard. His reach is enormous and none of Sai's attacks are going to have an effect on that Chouji.
Unsure about this but does Butterfly Mode make CHouji any faster? I seem to recall him being a lot faster but I'm busy at the moment and can't search for it.
Thats more than enough to bet my vote on him - if its Chouji we're talking about, that was the only thing he lacked to be one of the "strongest" rookies out there <or some paraphrases of Asuma's words about this stuff >Originally Posted by Jessie
Butterfly mode does give Choji a boost in speed (though I think that's only for when he's small), I';; try to find the page in his Jirobo fight.
Edit: Here it is:
He was able to get out from under Jirobo and behind him in the time it took for his fist to travel maybe a foot. Normal Choji certainly doesn't have the speed for that.
