Actually, we (Illu) wanted to do this series, but we don't have an available translator. So, maybe we could offer a joint for it or something? ._.Originally Posted by ttxdragon
have it. I am not a huge fan of the series. I know you guys do gantz and all things gantz related, so i'll leave it to you.

I think I'm the only one who thinks Gantz is a shounen.
woah woah waoh, Gantz and Tenjou Tenge are seinen because of the violence level, the sex and the overall adult theme of the manga. No matter how much more "mature" kenshin is, it is most definitely a shounen title. It was published in weekly shounen jump.Originally Posted by Luckas04
Also, despite my obvious affliation with Vagabond, it is probably one of the best manga i have read and i cant recommend it more if you like excellent action and even better artwork
Ok, thanks for the explanation. I have some problem with the japanese classification of mangas.Originally Posted by NeoShweaty
What about Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker and Peace Maker Kurogane (the follow-up)? Both abandoned cause they were licensed, but very good stuff. Would go fine alongside Vagabond.
they are good series, indeed.Originally Posted by Siedhr
but i would call at least shinsengumi imon peace maker still shonen... and peace maker kurogane is stalled after vol05 - till nanae chrono has enough fun doing it again...
i am trying to stay away from anything licensed because one, and maybe two, series that we do is licensed and i prefer to keep it that way. Plus, i want to bring people stuff that is unknown, so things that are licensed are a no no
I prefer Naruto than 666satan. I think the 666's mangaka is too pervert. Too much stupid lookin babes with abnormal figures. Yea... and I prefer the babes in Naruto. Honesty I didn't like 666.
I second eni's recommendation of Blade of the Immortal. You might also try Lone Wolf & Cub and Samurai Executioner. All of the above titles are licensed by Dark Horse Manga, but I'm pretty sure they can be found as scanlations online.
There's also the Chinese manhua The Ravages of Time if you want something a bit different with a lot of action as well as an intelligent and complex plot. (Looking at my sig you can see that I'm not in the least bit biased about this series. )
Naruto is more authentic comparing to 666 satan.Everything is more detailed, there are much more characters.666 satan seems to be a bit more mature themed but doesnt seem that much original.I mean all those devil and angel things make me wanna puke.those are overly used.
Lone Wolf & Cub is awesome and you should try Monster, even if it isn't properly action, but it is surely seinen.
Now i´m reading Shamo and Hellsing, and they are both very good, i try to read Blame, but it´s a little boring, i read 2 volumes and don´t see nothing of special in this manga.
