The “Looking For” Anime Thread

hi all,

just wondering if anyone could give me some advice with picking a good anime to watch or a manga to read. My favorite animelist is:

One Piece ( my nr1 )
Fullmetal Alchemist
Tenjou Tenge
Samurai Champloo
Beezlebub
Black Lagoon ( haven''t watched roberta''s blood trail yet )
Claymore
Deadman Wonderland
Deathnote

This is pretty much all my favorite animes. I hope some1 could give me a good title to watch. Had a few ideas like D. Grayman, Elfenlied and Souleater.

A shounen would be the best to watch and my genre would be supernatural/action/comedy
Don''t know if blacklagoon, claymore and deadman wonderland can be considered as dark-anime but i like those kind of animes aswell

If you don't have a problem with mecha type animes, give Heroic Age, Kiba a try.

naruto was my first anime i watched:P Its a good anime just not 1 of my favorites. Same goes for bleach. Since i watched One piece i get the feeling that most of the characters in bleach and naruto don't have as much personality as in one piece.. or i just like one piece to much

Heroic Age is not mecha per-se but kind its more of living organisms / beings in space with advanced races.
Same for Kiba.

what kind of genre is it? does it has comedy in it or is it pretty dark?

wiki page for it lists the show as: Adventure, science fiction..

I'll throw in action and Romance (though its subtle and noticeable)

There is comedic moments also, though If i recall it was in the beginning parts of the show.

and if you are REALLY ok with 'dark' ones try Mnemosyne

and YES on Soul Eater and Elfen Lied.

Those are just some of the epic series that relate to some in that list of yours

It's original fanart from Pivix, someone reposted it konchan. The pic itself is not from an manga/anime, though the girl in the middle with the brown hair and pony tail may be (the artist has down a few drawings of her). There is no guarantee she is anything other than fanart though. The scene itself is not from anything that can be watched or read though, if any characters are real there is no guarantee they are from anything remotely similar to the pic above.

Hi I watched an anime when I was younger, but there was a scene where a man gets his finger cut off and the finger crawls into a woman closeby. Also there was a character inside of the anime who had airplanes in place of arms. Sorry if it's a little graphic but I've been really curious to watch it again. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
