I guess that AM's manga is a cross between DN and Code Geass. I have a problem with it though. While I see a parallel to Light and L, as well as Lelouch and Suzaku, this new manga seems like too much of a weekly story, without a complete underlying plot
The underlying plot is the demon plans to erase mankind, he's using the fact humans are using his powers on their own race to hide he's using them to do his bidding for him.
It's basically a case of Ashirogi's non-mainstream upgraded to mainstream battle manga
Well, technically, yes they would 'cause in the end, the good guys have to win before it ends.
But it's hard to say at the moment. I think it can go either way in the one-shot (this one page with Eiji in silence has me really thinking), but when they both get serialized, Ashirogi Muto will probably eventually beat out Eiji. AM is actually more experienced even though Eiji's a genius, when you really think about it.
I meant in the sense that the duo has drawn more manga than Eiji, which means they've got more experience under their belt than Eiji. They've shown to be capable in writing mystery (Detective Trap), romance (the Love Fiesta one-shot), comedy (Tanto), sci-fi (Money&Intelligence/Two Earths), serious humour/slice of life (PCP).
Eiji only does mainstream battle. It's only now with
