So I'm very much the lurker on this board, but I hoped you fine people could help me out nonetheless. My manga obsession is such that I've made it the subject of my dissertation for the MSc Publishing degree I'm currently completing at Edinburgh Napier University (I am examining the relationship between fan communities and the manga publishing industry). If you'd care to spend 10 minutes to fill out a simple survey on your manga-reading habits I promise to love you forever and . . . er, well, that's it, really. But having a complete stranger love you forever is a pretty great karmatic plus, if you ask me.
Without further ado!

I would also love to discuss anything you'd like concerning my research on this thread, or answer any questions or concerns you have (regarding the survey or anything else). The survey is for academic purposes only, and the results are entirely anonymous and will not be publicized outside of my dissertation itself.
If you'd like to read my dissertation upon its completion (September), I would be happy to email it to you.
My endless and sincerest thanks!
Good luck with your paper!
Thankee much! I am endlessly in your debt. And I appreciate the good wishes-- I need all the good luck I can get. ^_~
I took the survey and I would be very interested to read your dissertation when it is completed.
Thank you for taking the time to answer the survey! I'll definitely post a link to my dissertation when it's finished-- I'm going to make it available on Google Scholar. It won't up up until September, though.
Done, good luck with your research
I took it too, that was kinda fun.

I've done it as well and I'm curious about the results in September : )
Good luck with the dissertation!
Glad I could help.
Looking forward to the publication of your work.
