Gah! I love this! The swift connection of the two nations most fond of baths is astounding! I wonder though if an overall plot will kick in? I mean so far it was three visits, three episodic chapters, there is a little overall story but I wonder if it's connected to the time traveling baths?
Also where can one find raws for this?

I am curious, I looked forward to this so much, why the sudden stop in releases?
Unfortunately, our TLor (yankihote) for Thermae became MIA... We're trying to look for another person who wanted to translate it. :< I'm dying for another chapter too.
Oh, so sad.
Just when it was going so well and someone finally picked it up, early this spring I tried to get my former group to start it, but the problem was yet again the translator.
I mean how many chapters/volumes are released in Japan as of now, where can I find raws, even not translated I really want more of this manga?
Try this MF folder, this is where I got the raws for v1 and v2.. I think it already has 3 volumes in Japan.

That's a shame, I was really enjoying Thermae. Good luck finding a new TL'er.
The last chapter I read about this series was the fifth or sixth, at this moment I don't remember well. Unfortunately I had to stop reading because my Japanese at the time wasn't yet at a level that I can continue reading.
However I really appreciate the series because first of all I was born in Rome and I studied Latin in high school (in Italy the first foreign language who you are taught is Latin and English is the second one). Secondly, I'm also a fan of Roman history.
I resisted reading the raws hoping the scans pick up. The manga is a great read for history buffs and Roman times buffs. Which I was till last year when I had my Latin class. It was one of my favorites. The series also tries to bond the Japanese traditions as well in order for the manga to feel closer to the readers in Japan.
Sorry for the massive delay... We still haven't really found a translator for this series... here's ch 4...
I couldn't resist and I continued to read until chapter #10 (end of the second volume). I find the story always very exciting even if the method used by Lucius to go in the future is always the same, and that could be boring.
Chapter #6 is something not to be missed, with the superb sketch of Lucius: "You're wrong, I'm not omosexual".
Strange to find out about this now! Thermae Romae is being adapted into an anime! And it begins Friday! I should check animenewsnetwork more often.

Hey guys! Are there any English translations for Thermae Romae? ClockworkLies seem to have their hands full with all their other projects so I thought maybe we could lighten their load a little.
I'm able to clean, typeset and proofread and the raws are already provided. Now all that's required is a translation starting from chapter 5. Hopefully someone is able to provide some translations.
You can send a private message to some of the members of the scan group, I am sure they will really like the extra help. And for those that are not keen on waiting for the chapters, the anime is roaring and even going pass the scanned chapters as of yet, so go check it out!
Yeah, all 6 episodes were brilliant. I heard that ep 5 & 6 differ from the manga though.
I've already checked out ClockworkLies and they have tons of great people signing up to join them (Every single position has recent submissions, with great skills as well). I think they've set Thermae Romae as a lower priority so the scans are taking much longer. All I want is to be able to catch up to current chapters of Thermae Romae and then they can take their time releasing the best possible quality.
edit : btw It seems like you're able to read Jap. Would you possibly be interested in providing transcripts for TR?
