Pirate King is the title the marines gave to Roger when he conquered the Grand Line. Im sure roger wouldnt say that

I agree, there must be something else which luffy told shanks, something which in all likelyhood has not appeared in the manga yet. Perhaps it is something that has to do with the time luffy and shanks actually met, something which we have not actually seen.

I think rufy said he would have become the best,the strongest,with good followers,as did roger. I don't think there's other he said and that didn't appear in the manga.
