Why did you choose your avatar?

My new avatar is Sawako Kuronuma from Kimi ni Todoke. I chose her as my new avy because 1) she is a very nice, pure and kind girl, 2) because I’m a fan of Kimi ni Todoke and 3) because I’m currently watching the second season of the anime.

My avatar is of Nakakura Seri from Ren-Ai Shijo Shugi. I loved the shoujo (more like josei, lulz) manga, and I'm currently rereading it. Seri's one of my favorite female characters. Tamaki, her boyfriend and love interest, lists some of the things that make her special to him. Hard not to fall in love with Seri, and she's even been deflowered by the same person she loves so early.

I really do have fondness for this manga. I like reading romance and stuff, especially since I've been seeing too much action.

@ M3J: whaaat, no more Usopp?

Mine's Shindou Sugata from Star Driver! A really interesting anime right now, I'd recommend it to anyone especially if you like mecha and action, though there is also a good blend of school life and all that.

I was kinda pulled into getting a Star Driver-related avatar. It started with Koen, then I think it was riki, 3c and conn-man, followed by thornofcarrion and myself and finally Kaiten. It was fun having 7 of us running around with SD avatars

I'm good at blending. Plus, the avatar may be bad in quality, the manga on the contrary is awesome, and the page itself was cool.

my avatar is from one of my favorite moments of the battle royale manga. the whole couple chapters involving this amazing fight scene was seriously the pinnacle of it for me. the build up to this fight made it even taht much more sick.

i'm not gonna link to that certain part so rather, i'm gonna post a link to the manga itself. Battle Royale is a very, to say the least, brutal manga. viewer discretion is definitely advised on this one. it is a fantastic manga about survival and trust. a definite must read.

This avatar of mine is the infamous Hibari yawn which he used in his fight against someone in KHR.

I just inverted the color found in the manga.

Don't get me wrong. Ryohei is still number 1 for me.

This is just to honor the mighty Hibari for defeating his strong adversary enemy flawlessly.

Mine is the pirate logo from WSJ, altered to look like Luffy from OP . It's from the cover of this weeks issue, as Jump is celebrating 200 million copies shipped of OP this month.
