heh seriously very good chapter, i really enjoyed. that grandmother realized what GMR himself didn't realize about Shioon, and she think all of it was GMR scheme xD. She could become a good master for Shioon.

Well, eventually yes. We pretty much knew that anyway though.

Nobody else was dumb enough to consume an illwallsindan. Not only can Shioon spam ki attacks pretty much all day....his body would have eventually equalized with the ki he gained from it. That means his reflexes and strength would have been off the damn charts.

Well, we can look forward to the doc's fix and much future curbstomping.

Not unexpectedly, Goomoonryong is being suspected of foul pay here. Fairly ironic, considering that wasn't ever his intention XD . Not as far as Shioon is concerned at least.

Well i think we fans predicted every thing to the very veins of it . We knew that Goomoonryong did sth that would be repairable. Shiwoons ability to heal must have caught Goomoonryongs sight and he just made the murim fool over his action and made it look like he destroyed the channel
think that expansion at prematured level must have cut his ki supply to save it, and made it look like ki center is destroyed

I'm more thinking that Goomoonryong destroyed Shioon Ki center because he knew that he would be a Monster like the Granny said and that he did it so that Shioon could be more controlable.

Shioon is already dead after consuming the Divine moon Pill because it contains too much KI and thats why GMR widen Shioon's meridian so that all that Ki will be all over his body and not exploding killing Shioon

QFT, that guy really pissed me off.
Though i dont think that it was because he wants to die in shiwoons hand or something rather i think he knew that Murim is a big place with diff masters of high calibre, and he knew that him alone against all odds might not be a good idea. So created a time bomb. Shioon no matter how attached to these ppl will always side with his master unless there is some major issue of turpitude that weighs him down you know.
Anyway how bout this lets make a bet on after how many chap shiwoon s Ki center will be revitalized to a working condition

Well all know GMR isn't a bad guy, so I could see the plot going towards Shioon being the one to have to kill him. Thing is, I don't think that was his intention at all.. Granny is just making predictions, but we already know all that stuff was merely a coincidence and that the GMR simply did all of that because otherwise Shioon would of died. Not like he was raising a weapon at all. Doesn't matter what the author shows us about the GMR, we've seen what he really is so it'll have a hard time fooling me :P


I think Shioons ki center was simply destroyed because the GMR wanted him to go back to leading a normal life (which he did for awhile) and because the Murim's would eventually find out Shioon is the key to defeating GMR, and use him as such. Which is actually kind of what the story might be heading towards right now actually.

u guys are thinking a bit too deep remember when GMR was teaching how to distribute his ki it kept backing up so for the ki to distribute it properly he had to widen his merdians http://www.mangareader.net/530-30474...hapter-20.html

My take on the whole thing is that GMR had nothing to do with it because it was Shiho that fed him the Illwansindan(sp?). She even talked about Shioon's clogged blood vessels and how he can't get enough. Back when he was running. His mom confronted him and he rad away. That is when Shiho offered the egg to him. She said it could fix him or kill him. I think that the meridian was increased because of the egg and nothing else.

GMR at least imo did nothing to his meridian but he distributed the ki away from Shioon that first night (before GMR got his shoulder screwed up). Then GMR started teaching Shioon about the BHE technique for ki distribution. But Shioon wasn't good enough yet. So he surprised those guys looking for Shiho at the school and threw out that ki/spirit bomb and bled everywhere. That whole series is because of the illwansindan not GMR.

I think the old lady thought this was the work of GMR but we know better. As for this chapter. Of course Shioon surpassed all reason and understanding. Something happened when Shioon did the BHE ki technique he used for meditation. Both translations I read the women in the room were really startled. It even showed Shioon's skin a different color. I think they were surprised for more than the fact that the old ladies ki getting absorbed.

So if Shioon can meditate and train. The question I have now is did GMR leave more than the BHE, foot, and spirit crushing strike (or whatever that punch Shioon does is called) in the phone? Did he show kicking techs or something else? Also can Shioon learn them through the meditations? I guess that is something we will find out about.

I really like this version. I don't know Korean, I am hoping that this is more accurate. I saw Mangacurses version too. I like this one. It seems to have more beef.
