Night 208: We are living with hesitation
The very first sentence under the title talks briefly about the "Best 10" of the Chara Gray voting (popularity) poll. Sheryl, David, and Wisely make an appearance on a voting poster.
Sheryl's slogans: "Parent & child: banzai (cheers)! My pure ballot is for my daughter!" "My standard is DOS. It's better to pamper my daughter!!"
(T/N: I'm guessing "DOS" in Sheryl's case would be "Dad Over Shoulder"? I can't think of anything else for どＳ...)
David's slogans: "If you don't pick me, I'm gonna use violence!" "Jasdero's fate is the same as mine!"
Wisely's slogans: "You have protected privacy even if there's a demon eye." "A bath is 1 week at 10 minutes."
(T/N: *headdesk at trying to figure out Wisely...* He'll never be elected!)
*skips over the blogger's babble about the 19th century and Japanese baths*
The chapter's splash cover features Kanda and Johnny.
We see someone coming back to the Black Order while someone is leaving it.
Kanda is walking calmly, while Johnny is running away.
Their eyes do not meet. They don't seem to be on friendly terms from their origin.
Now onto the main story...
Kanda, with Lenalee and Marie, are coming back to the Black Order. The blogger believes this to be the Asia branch.
They're walking through a passageway.
People's voices can be heard all around them, but Kanda doesn't look back.
"'No matter what, I am an Exorcist", right...? So, the purpose of this visit is to see that guy...."
Kanda expresses his thoughts of concern in a form of whispers as he is informed, by Lenalee and Marie, about what happened to Allen.
The blogger expresses great joy that Kanda is worried about Allen. (o_o)--= *pokes* ＼(*￣▽￣*)/
Allen has defied the Black Order's own law, yes?
"In spite of the Black Order using their whole power to search [for him], they can't find him at all!!"
"I wonder how as one would expect to call him a pupil of General Cross....?"
*skips over the blogger's thoughts about the Black Order's incompetence and wishful thinking of summoning the 1980's manga character, Master Keaton, to find Allen* (=.=)
Kanda stuck only with an established gate in France.
The meeting with Marie and Lenalee was unexpected.
Matel is in southern Italy. The blogger wonders why that particular province and laughs about it.
*skips this sentence as the blogger talks about Rome* *sighs*
Lenalee takes a long good hard stare at Kanda's colored cheek with a "Really....Kanda..." [phrase] as Kanda is talking with Marie.
The blogger wonders what kind of feelings are trying to rise up as the love flag for Lenalee is random from last month.
*stops translating for a moment*
What the heck am I reading?
Summarizing that the blogger writes about Kanda being missing and his return, his character change, and the meeting point. Then, the blogger thinks Kanda is "sexy" running his hand through his hair.... And then states that Kanda is "beautiful". =.= The blogger is a definite Kanda fan.
*continues translating hoping this are not fan made up quotes from the craziest imagination...*
Kanda: "........."
Lenalee: "Wha... What?"
Kanda: "....Damn, you became plain."
Lenalee: "Huuuuuuuuuuh!!?"
Kanda breaks the love flag instantly.
"To leave that face quickly in a bang. I guess you're crying just like that depressed childhood again."
Marie holds back Lenalee, who's in a frenzy.
Kanda has a good ear as the various rants peel a fang.
(T/N: I think it means, Kanda just bares and grin at Lenalee's actions? "Kiba" is not easy to put into this sentence.)
Kanda recollects a person as Lenalee says with confidence that he's a childhood friend from the [times of the] Akuma.
The blogger notes that's as close to urging someone to improve oneself, eh? (laughs)
*censors this blogger's sentence* ( ^_^; ) (T/N: I won't let Lenalee be degraded like this. :P)
We see that their environment is like a cup-shape.
Outside of a room is a group of Satomi loafers, which Kanda faces.
(T/N: "Satomi"? Will go back and see what that truly is...)
Someone says with tears, "In the end, we finally meet."
However, Kanda recognizes a loafer and passes through in the middle of them [to get into the room].
The freezing room is made of stone in order to conceal a Chinese looking cloth and ornament.
In a waiting room, Komui is sitting on a sofa having a meeting with Rouvelier, who's accompanied by a Crow guard.
The blogger believes this occurs prior to the contact of going through the gate.
Kanda forms an impression as he enters the room. Komui's body is floating with a happy look on his face.
As that's going on, Rouvelier gives Kanda a quick glance.
Kanda (?): "..........What are you doing?"
Kanda has his head, chest, and arms being touched as his the blood vessels on the temple of his forehead start to float up.
(T/N: Angry marks?)
"'Well.... As expected, General Tie Doll did not make the 'Art of Kanda'...."
Komui-san is happy to tears. As expected though, Kanda would kill [someone] before being hugged. (Blogger laughs)
These days, General T isn't ready, eh?
*skips over more of the blogger's ramblings over the Earl and General Tie Doll*
Rouvelier: "It's because Alma Karma is dead, right?"
Rouvelier wants a confirmation from Kanda.
Rouvelier: "That being the case, where is that corpse?"
Kanda coldly looks at Rouvelier.
Kanda: "I have nothing to say about that. It's not like I need the Black Order's forgiveness."
Komui and Lenalee's group's faces would stiffen from those words, thus, only Crow needs to be concerned. However, only a "....fu" would come out of Rouvelier's mouth.
(T/N: Like a chuckle, right?)
After that time, 3 months have gone by. To that extent, cruel things have been done, and yet, the blogger doesn't think Kanda has been pardoned (and so forth).
Rouvelier: "If that's the case, why did you return? With great pain, Allen Walker was burdened until the crime of treason, even though, you guys were given a chance to escape...."
If it's the case of the self, Kanda kept drinking in resentment and hatred.
*skips over the rest of the blogger's reflection of Kanda finding Alma after all these years, escaping the Order, and his mysterious return*
Kanda doesn't give Rouvelier an answer to his question.
A light silk curtain rises up and we go inside a room.
On one of the walls, there is an angel [statue] of Saint Mother Maria watching over the bedroom.
The only light in the room is from a candle.
An old man is stretched out on the bed, who appears to be Zhu.
Nearby, a weeping Bak relieves himself by sitting on a chair. Next to him, Renny is standing with a look of indifference on her face. (T/N: To refresh your memories, Renny Epstain is the chief of the NA branch.)
And then, there is Fo.
Bak's face looks up as Kanda's presence enters the room and whispers to his grand-uncle: "He came, Zhu-ji-sama."
(T/N: The blogger called Zhu, Bak's "grandfather". =.= But Bak literally says "Uncle Zhu", informally.)
