It was proven that even though ants are the product of a bunch of humans they can still retain their humanity. So it is possible that the body of kaito was just an empty vessel and the essence of Kaito was put into the little girl in some way. It's possible that the King was impressed with the powers of kaito and allowed him to be combined with one of the ants. It'll definitely be interesting to see the explanation behind it and the conclusion of the arc is definitely something interesting to look forward to. It'll be cool if Leorio makes an entrance to help Gon come back I can't really think of what else Killua could do to help Gon other then call him lol.
Such an amazing Chapter, I can't wait to see the whole arc animated. The Kaito twist was definitely a very nice one, but I'm not sure how everything is going to play out.
- The King is dead and the next chapters are going to concentrate on his last game / moments.
- Killua is going to look for a Nen-Specialist in Healing / Reverting, I don't think he'll be able to learn anything by himself in a short amount of time. Gons condition seems to pretty severe so I guess there might be a little timeskip of 1-2 months.
Though I have no idea how the "reborn" Kaito is going to fit into the plot at all. How did this even happen, I thought Pitou killed Kaito herself and never fed her to the queen...?
Good chapter!!! The way the doctor described Gon's current situation as a tragedy makes me think that he is still in his adult form. I really don't know how it will turn out and I also wonder who Killua is going to ask for help? But the biggest revelation was that Kaito is apparently back and that as a chimera ant!! And according to kewl's translation he is still considered a male.
The reincarnation free ride ended when Pitou was born. None of the Royals or Meryem had any memories of a human past. Kite was clearly kept around as Pitou's personal toy/trophy, and double as a training dummy for the other Ants. I suppose you can say Pitou decided to throw a piece of his body to the Queen's food which is how he was reborn. That sure would make the Queen a convenient way to escape death, just chop off a body part before you die and feed it to the Queen and you'll be reborn good as new!
I don't see Togashi going with the usual 'there are more powerful guys out there' deal. If Morel and Novu has no clue how to fix Gon, and they're clearly some of the most experienced Hunters in the story, one can rule out that his condition is fixable by any existing method. What exactly would be so surprising if Killua discovered abilities nobody has ever did before? Biscuit said Killua's mastery of aura, at the age of 12, is comparable to her at 25, and she's not exactly a newbie...
well, the obvious answer for Killua would be having him heading to Greed island again, finishing of the game and use the Angel's breath card on Gon? they won the last game, so the it rebooted somehow?
still needs explainations for Kaito, the queen was pregnant already when he was killed, and he was used as training tool, not food for the Queen...
Maybe they took his brain out?
No, Biscuit didn't say that. She said Killua's skill in nen redistrubtion is comparable to hers when she was 20. Not any of the rest.Quote:
Anyway, I think this will be a multi step process.
Also, Novu and Morau are definitely not feeling like they don't have a clue how to fix Gon. Novu seems pretty confident Doctors can do it, and Morau didn't say anything about it either.
Killua, however, wants to be THE ONE to do it.
I also think that's plausible in this pic you can see that his forehead didn't have a scar after his fight with Pitou. In the picture you posted, there is a visible scar on his forehead so it could be that during that period of time, they feeded him to the Queen due to him being a very rare breed because he is the strongest Nen user, who got eaten prior to Meruem's birth. But that's only my assumption though.
What Killua said is inevitable foreshadowing. Sure he could go on a journey and come back and Novu said these new nanotechnology machine I brought fixed Gon while you're away so it turned out Killua was wasting his time all along. If Gon could be fixed by anyone other than Killua, then I guess their friendship must not be worth very much. I guess you can say since two defining promises (Colt to protect Reina, Gon to avenge for Kite) turns out to be some kind of sick joke, maybe we'll be seeing another one soon, but I really hope this isn't where HX is going.

Besides, the Archangel's Breath says "will only appear once", and really even with this restriction, it's definitely one of the most ridiculous ability shown so far in the world of HXH.
At any rate, the Archangel's Breath card says, "will only appear once"
Also, Biscuit says 20 years old, and she began studying nen when she was 17.
Given that Killua is trying to go away when they just heard the biggest news in order to maybe recover Gon?Quote:
I Kind of agree with this.Quote:
maybe it is time for a kurapika/leolio come back, having them teaming up again to save Gon? or Hisoka maybe? he dont like to have his toys broken
'bout the archangel breath, that's the only thing that could bring back Gon all together: he will go back to normal, age, arm fixed and nen back on track... Gon's been too far ( alone ) and is beyond usual salvation... so i agree that the Archangel breath is a bit too convenient... so maybe Kirua is aiming for the source ( looking for the GI makers ).. but his face makes me feel he is more for heading back home and ask for help from his family.. would love to see him back to that big door and opening it wide in one kick.. dad im hooome

@Host Samurai: Yep, seems like he's still in adult form. Not to mention, still lacking his right hand (since he pretty much used it to beat up Pitou which I'm guessing means it's useless more or less).
I think my brain exploded with this chapter. SO satisfying. I don't know why. Pam's tears and her respect for the king = king is done for, but the Kaito thing, totally unexpected. What a twist. So somehow he's been turned?
And I didn't really think about it - but yeah, Leorio would totally make sense. Greed Island has already been done before, Killua has become way too overpowered for it, not to mention what manga would have the character do the same thing twice. Instead I think it's the beginning of a new arc with Leorio or the like, I'm hoping with some Kurapica too since they might need his connections. They somehow need to revert his condition - with both arms please..
yeah cant believe that there are not other nen users or rare items in HXH world that couldnt reverse Gon's situation.. so with the help of their old friends, next arc could be about saving gon, while things are installing themselves for a new badguy?
she's crying on the last page its either she saw something bad or Gon is in really bad shape
