Synopsis:

Shiba Tatsuya is an honor student without magic capability at First High School, a magic high school along with his sister who happens to be the top student among the freshmen. What will happen to him? How will he live his school life where he is one of the many reserves in the school looked down upon by the chosen magical students?


Personal Opinion:
my rating 8.5/10.

self evalutaiton: I REALLY DISLIKE incestual settings but this one is different because it might appear to be incestual but its really not. AND even if it was ignoring those parts its a tank manga in shonen Genre.

Normally in shonen we have generic Heros, like say naruto(not saying he is bad hell no), who are headstrong with INCREADIBLE potential yet incapable intellegence but really down to earth and diligent, while their rivals are the strategist or sharp guy who is mostly a step ahead of the main yet the best friend.

In this manga the Main has untold potential + he is the sharp guy around and not just in studies but in combat strategies(Saske + shika).
Just a big handicap for him in a world of magic he lives he has no talent in magic.
ITS an increadible manga light novel is fun too.
Hope ppl will find it great.

BTW: i didnt find any active thread for the manga so i started it if it already existed i am sorry to open another one it must have slipped my cursory search.
13 chaps released so far and it seems to be monthly.
But the light novel is way ahead so if any one wants to discuss it will be great since i dun get much forum for light novel discussion.

from the 1st 6 chapters i read of the manga i can definitively say novel is better. tatsuya in manga and novel seemed 2 different chars. for starters.even thou manga art is way better than the novel illusts. i actually prefer the novel.

hmm i know Tatsuya in Novel seemed MORE formidable which is really scary in some sense, i mean in manga he can literal wipe any one. In Novel he seems stronger because we can really hear what he thinks and how he plans in details. But for those who doesnt wnt to read the novel the manga is not bad actually the manga is a lot better than most of the recent shonen being thrown at us out in the blue. Also it has potential, I think it will get better.

That i have to agree wholeheartedly. it is actually pretty good as a shounen if you dont know the novel. thou is better than most novel adaptations.
