i think that the ilogical part of terraforming mars is that is converting mars in the place that the habitants of the magic world cant go.

Not only that, I believe the method he will use is encapsulating mars atmosphere (like I thought at first), but how will mana-magic be formed to sustain life and prevent the probable collapse of the planet? (no way... speeding time relative sections at a time for growth of mini ecosystems...?)

well I guess that the thing that generates mana is the planet itself... but mars currently is a sand dome so nothing to sustain life... so by allowing plants to grow up they might start to produce mana itself.... like we remember from the magic destrucions whitlpools... they destroyed magic world and exposed the real mars surface... so if the magic world crumbles a new world will await them.... maybe negi travels in magic world to explain his plan... set some important points to help teraform... or he was gathering data of the magic worlds ships.... blueprints he can use to create in old world a space ship wit which they can travel to teraform mars.... many options...

Negi said that his plan needs at least 8-10 years. Maybe even 100 years.

My theorie:

At the moment he is working part-time on the space-station which was mentioned. There he builds a dome for a few scientists to live on Mars and to observe the progress.
Within this dome he will begin terraforming. Therefore he will use seeds of the world-tree. He will plant this seeds and let them grow. This will help to built up more magic and oxygen within this dome. By and by he will build more and more domes and distribute the sprouts of the world tree on Mars.
But you all know how long it takes a tree to grow, so this will explain this massive amount of time. The only possibility to shorten this time is when he let this sprouts grow within a diorama.

But before he needs to train some sorts of Magic. Especially Al´s gravity-magic. Mars needs a similar gravity like earth to live on it. In addition he needs Asuna to direct magic on mars. Ayaka and Chizuru should be able to foretell on which place on Mars they should start. Robots like Chachamarus sisters will be needed on Mars at least for the first time to build up one of these domes.

looks like akamatsu sensei really wants to end negima quickly, this arc it seems about the girls life choice and he come up whit a plot that would consume negi whole life during the next hundred years, so there is not fighting bad guys or going in adventure because they running out of time, I predict 10 more chapters and this series sadly would end.

UNLESS, he is going to make a time lapse to when negi is an adult, and the rest of Mega-blah-blah are going to destroy the mana tree, where the conclusion of mana depletion war starts (making Chao's ending come true). And the story starts with Mitsuba and Ninjin at age 7-8 trying to flee from an attack.

well i prefer the manga ending than that happening, I would love to see a time jump whit negi adult, but the thing i dont like is the hole Chao future happening, is like negi fate its decedided the instand chao came up, no matter what he do everything is going to lead him to that future, be that he succes saving the magic world or if he fails. I fucking hate the historys when the hero beat the bad guy because it was his destiny, is like the heroe could stay in his home drinking beer and whitouth doing anything the thing would end the same way because it was destiny, so what is the fucking point. negi doenst have a choice in his life. the plan, what girl he is going to marrie, everything is set. is like living in the matrix

please don't say it that way, it sounds like it's a sad fate of negi. well i believe destiny is something paradoxial.just a wild guess, but the future isn't foretold like written in a book. Chao appeared to change the history so that it will be better for the people in the future, proving that negi isn't a hero before like he is today. what chao did created a change in negi's destiny (since if chao did not time travel, the flow of time will not be disturbed. then negi will not be able to save the magic world. ). i guess destiny of a person changes if an action predicted isn't made. again, just a wild thought.
