Ok, this is something I have been wondering about for quite a while. In general I know enough about computers to know a deal when I see one but there is one part of the specs of which I am completely ignorant off. How in the hell do I know if a graphic/video card is good enough for my needs? The specs always show the model of the video card which the computer in question has but in turn just knowing the name does not help me much. I mean, how can I possibly compare to video cards by just knowing the name or model if I have no actual numbers about their capacity and power? Or maybe I am going the wrong way about this? It also seems largely unpractical to have to learn a bunch of models instead of being able to directly see what each video card is capable off as you would with other specs. Even when I have actually researched specific cards I end up without knowing if they will meet my specific needs or exceed them....
