    Help with ugly scan?

    Having trouble translating from a crappy scan, but these two panels look like someone with a bit more skill than me could figure them out - so MH, I call upon your powers!

    This is random spectator after a fight in a tournament. "Well, they did (say?) his (joints?) were weak."

    XXXXXXXXXX力の差を見せ付ける

    I can pick out a few kanji in the blurry section, but not enough to figure out the meaning.

    1. Possible translation:
    Damn it, I thought his(opponent's) joints were weak.

    I can't read the letter... I am just guessing...

    2. 絶対徹底的にねじ伏せて

    Letters in bold should be correct.

    I wouldn't translate 絶対 part though. It's probably wrong. 徹底的にねじ伏せ should be good enough to carry on your translation.
