Confused What is "もん" in the end of sentence.

    1) 仲間ぐれの”もん”だ。-- Friends....(I don't know what is ...ぐれのもん...?)

    2) あなたのおととはわたしと同じ年だ ”もん”な。-- your bro' and me are the same year.....?

Re: What is "もん" in the end of sentence.

    もん=もの

    (1) Are you sure... it is NOT 「仲間ぐれぇのもんだ。」 or 「仲間ぐれーのもんだ。」 ? In these sentences, ぐれぇ or ぐれー means ぐらい (only)
    <(~は、)仲間ぐらいのものだ。>

    (2) あなたのおととはわたしと同じ年だものな。=あなたのおととはわたしと同じ年だからな。

    Thx a lot mikkih

and sorry I missed "ro" at the end of the sentence.

    (1) the whole sentence is "仲間ぐれーのもんだろ" actually it's written in vertical column, so I'm not sure that -->"ー" will have meaning or not?? then this sentence's meaning should be " it’s about only friendship." -- ”もの = about thing?"

(2)あなたの弟は私と同じ年だからな ="Thus your younger brother and me are the same age/year"

    (1) 仲間ぐれーのもんだろ=仲間ぐらいのものだろう。
    ぐらい:only
ものだろう:I would say, That would be

Depends on the context, trans. could be:
    Only friends/comrades would do it.
I would say, friends/comrades are the only ones.

Look at the speech right before the phrase. Usually the phrase is used in 「~ (verb)は」, for example 「そんなことすんのは (=そんなことするのは/Those who might do such a thing )」 to see the whole picture.

    (2)あなたの弟は私と同じ年だからな

あなたの弟は私と同じ年だからな = " That's because your younger brother and I are the same age"

example: あなたの弟は私と同じ年だから、仕方がない。(That is expected as your younger brother and I are the same age.)
