I am glad that Gaara wtfpwned Mizukage without Naruto coming to the rescue. Gaara showed quick thinking, power, and bravery during this battle, and he still protected those under his command.

BTW without help or gold at the area, I really doubt Gaara could defeat mizukage , think about how deadly can it be if that was 1 on 1 and with Clam genjutsu + exploding jutsu at the same time : D

To be fair all the kages defeated there with at least 2vs1 matches or so . Without any information, or rubber help , naruto would have cut into 2 pieces against 3th raikage or muu would not rasenganed without onoki check and Gaara sand or so .

this makes naruto, sasuke and gaara in the same department. i remember how people criticized sasuke for his fight against bee because he was saved 3 times by his friends.

Gold Dust is awesome but it too bad we didn't get to see what Gaara's father was capable off. Rest in peace all former Kage. Overall I really liked this chapter, Gaara the Golden Egg defeated his opponent without Naruto's help is good for Gaara's overall confidence.

The whole reason we didn't get to see Gaara's father is because he and Gaara have an identical fighting style, as it was Gaara's father who trained him. Gaara has surpassed his father, so it's really pointless to have his father fighting as well. Also don't want to take any of Gaara's spotlight away.

Gaara is proving why he is one of the most popular characters, but oh man Mizukage is BRUTAL!!! I am really impressed by the Kage, and the war as a whole so far. I'm just wondering what's going to happen after all the forces rejoin, they are going to need some time to recover while Madara and Kabuto have done practically nothing, and we only just saw Sasuke reappear. The tide of battle is about to change in the not too distant future IMO.

Oh man, Mizukage just made Muu & Raikage look like useless fools xD. And somehow Gaara reminded me a lot of Itachi. Staying calm, thinking on his feet, finding a way to take care of business quickly...epic. Meanwhile, Mizukage's smile...reminded of Naruto's smile when he's proud of someone or happy for what they accomplished. Really nice chapter put up by Kishi, I'm glad the fight Gaara had with his dad wasn't his last one.

BTW, I'll be waiting for Muu or Madara and his Paths to re-appear and cause chaos on the battlefield. Actually, scratch that, have Madara head over for HQ...though that wouldn't make sense since with Zetzu he should know were Naruto & Bee are and go straight to them....if that were to happen, Gaara, Oonoki & Naruto are already pretty spent...time for Bee to shine and sacrifice himself for Naruto for there to be some real fear & chaos in the Alliance.

But I do have a question that doesn't have that much to do with this chapter but rather about this arc. Remember, when Kakashi said that he's going all out, well, whatever happened to that fight? I know that Kishi could easily flash us to that scene but the problem is that the ninjas and their enemy retreated to sleep and heal, no? Or has Kakashi, lee and the rest been fighting ever since? And btw, wasn't Sakura a part of that squad as well? Were are they and what happened to that part of the war?

Wow...what an epic chapter..Mizukage's fighting style is mindblowing..even with all the back-up info Gaara had, he definitely had a hard time dealing the Mizukage..Mizukage kinda reminded me of Joker except that Mizukage was more good natured and predictable...I was sure though, that gaara would win this battle and he did without doubts accomplish it impressively..

all said and done 1 question that leaves me unanswered - going by physics, shouldn't solutes lower down the boiling point of a solution and thereby increase the speed with which water should boil and burst??..in simple words Gaara's doing should have brought the reverse effect of what is shown..or is kishi breaking every conventional laws of physics with this chapter, only to demonstrate how epic Gaara is??

I wouldn't get too excited about the Mizukage, considering his ultimate attack was directed at Gaara with full force, Gaara shielded his subordiantes instead of himself, and Gaara is still standing. It seems it lacked some steam. If Gaara is out of comission in the next chapter then the mizukage's awesomeness can be certified.

That technique was a pretty vicious technique. Pretty cool how Gaara mixed his dad's gold into his technique. I'm glad the Gaara finished the battle instead of Naruto or somebody else taking over. Hopefully, next chapter, we should get an update of Sasuke, Bee, and Kakashi's division. It'd be cool if we were cut to a panel showing Bee taking on Sasuke.

His awesomenesss can be certified even without that I mean: just imagine what hell he can put on his enemies if he combines this Jokey Boy clone with his clam doing mirage genjutsu.. Its no wonder that he could actually make a mutual strike down with Muu - Muu was probably sensing him out and at the same time he was dealing with his dust element techniques with this fast Jokey Boy clone, and when finally he found the real Mizukage he shot dust element technique at him while Mizukage's Jokey Boy exploded near Muu.. or at least I can see such outcome. The Nidaime Mizukage dude is BADASS <3<3 <along with Sandaime Raikage he can be proud of being kages - I still believe we can wait for Muu return to acomplish that status as well <Gaara's father was.. shit >

Yeah. The tehcnique was stopped. That's what Gaara's explanation was about. He said the gold conducted the heat and that the body wouldn't be able to move so that it could heat up to explode.

Now we'll just have to see in the next chapter if Muu can release himself for a final showdown. IMHO he got KO'd too quickly, a lot of hype but got nailed within 3-4 pages... Just hope he doesn't release the other kages, now THAT would require Itachi disenchanting Edo Tensei to defeat as Raikage won't fall for that trick again etc etc...
