Sera would not do that remember what the old granny said to Sera? she said that he want to break the bonds of her former masters from the curse of GMR that means if Shioon discovers that Sera's Clan killed his mother then they will feel the wrath of another Dragon

i can understand that, but as long as shioon doesn't find out its all good in her mind. my guess is she's going to blame S.U.C anyways and they'll be no way for him to know, probably until part 3 of the manga. She has people that can keep the info hidden well secret and make it look like the S.U.C did it..

i think her death(Shioon's mom) has to happen for him to trully become indepandant and have a resolve greater than anything, that plus wanting to teach S.U.C that his master is the way he(shioon) knows him, not the one they(S.U.C) make him out to be...

then again i dont think the creator is willing to go that "dark" yet for shioon...

I highly doubt that 'dark' path will ever be taken for Shioon. But perhaps another character can be the catalyst for Shioon's anger like Shiho (maybe thats why she's being revived by the author's devices; exactly for that role). Although, Shioon is generally not the type to go into a fit of rage on any individual because he didn't learn martial arts to oppress others, but only for self-defense.

So as long as Jinie's wearing a maid outfit, we get panty shots... And Shioon has that high level password card from SUC, which makes me wonder if he gave it to Shioon fully knowing his personality. I think it might be a trap, giving false information... My impression of the SUC's top leader is that of a skilled tactician... launching all these proxy wars using his pawns might be a distraction to mislead others away while he attains his true objective. As a tactician myself, that's how I feel.

It was strongly hinted in earlier chapters that the person was who was in a critical state is Shioon's mother, so I'm not surprised. I expect the worse regarding Shioon's mothers condition...just in case. However, Shioon is not as innocent as Sera believes him to be, I suspect Shioon will start harboring doubts now...

The chapter was good. Jinie on the run, Shioon worried about his mom. I kind of hope that his mom dies. Even at the hands of the SUC. I think GMR will come back to the light after Shiho is revived. Or I truly feel way, way down the road that Shioon is going to confront GMR and that Shiho is going to step in and take a hit for him.

As for this chapter several others have touched on a few key things.

Chip that Shioon has
Mother in coma
Sera worried about Shioon losing focus (which I highly doubt he would be more motivated to protect everyone including his mother. He would understand that as he is now he could not defeat the SUC)
Ji-Gun phone call to Sera
Jinie getting free

I think it was short as some have already pointed out why. Let's hope that Shioon can get his ki-center back soon. I wonder does he still run and do the physical stuff too. I remember GMR telling him to train everyday.

Hmm, Sera may well be making a big mistake by not telling Shioon the truth. It's obvious why she doesn't though:

1. Sera doesn't know Shioon - She doesn't yet know that he hates it when people lie or hide things from him.
2. Sera is, obviously... Thinking like a Murim (Get stronger first, secondary problems like family next, especilly if the later may hamper the process of beoming stronger). But Shioon doesn't think like a Murim, he's just a normal kid with powers usually only Murim have, after all.

Ah well, will be interesting to see what happens next. I'm not sure whether Sera will notify Shioon, by she may well come herself... Gothic LÖolita VS Kuudere .

Well it looks like Shioon is going to team up with Ji-Gun at some point soon. Looks like the access card one of the leaders gave to Shioon is going to benefit Ji-Gun because otherwise there would have been no point in showing that little exchange between the leader and Shioon. Wow so many pictures of Jinie in her underwear and from so many angles! XDDDD. I really hope Shioon gets a sparring partner at some point like Ji-Gun or someone of equal or better level. It would be a good way from him to use techniques he has learned and a way to perfect his fighting form.

plus its not like he knows shioon has the key card, nor that he can fight with ki for brief periods...so its weird he's asking for him..

i would have thought he'd instead ask for the girl's help or go himself...

Well, Ji-Gun is apparently VERY short on allies at the moment, so maybe he simply has no one else but Shioon to turn to for now. Besides.. He may or may not know about Shioon's connection to the Sunwoo clan, but if he does, him asking makes a bit more sense, maybe.

It seems he asked for Shion after he wondered how the SUC knew about the café. Can someone have betrayed him even so I don't see the relation with Shion?

I have always suspected Shioon's mother. She was always busy and how she was brought in the plot few times, I knew something is up to her. Does she belong to any of the faction? Its will definitely add a new twist to the story. The biggest question will be her standing. I mean, will she be standing against Shioon and what he believes or the opposite. I know, I am concluding it too early. Nevertheless, its a possibility.

I think Ji-Gun is asking for Shioon to tell her about Jinie, since he knows that she is on the run now. Plus Ji-Gun knows that Shioon and Jinie are pretty close. I have a feeling Shioon is going to go looking for Jinie within the next couple of chapters. He is going to insist that he go out and look for her and I don't think he is going to sit still on this matter.

@thornofcarrion: I always wondered about what Shioon's mother did since her job always consumed a lot of time and she was never home. Many people have posted that she might work for Murim in some way. It would make sense if she was a part of Murim that would explain why Shioon is such a fast learner. I also hope we get some info about his father at some point down the road. How weird would it be if his dad followed Goomoonryong back in the day or that they were friends? But thornofcarrion I think you correct in assuming there is something up with Shioon's mother.

if sera will not tell Shioon about her mother someone will and at the same time Ji-Gun is asking for Shioon why Jinie is avoiding Shioon and Shioon tells him that she went missing and Ji-Gun tells Shioon that S.U.C is attacking her and then Shioon will ask where Jinie is and Saves Jinie and they comeback at Sunwoo and then Shioon will excuse himself because he wants to talk/meet her mother and then the elders will tell Shioon what happened on her mother

Something tells me that once he finds out about his mother, we'll see an elaboration of that volume cover 'dragon breaking restraints' sketch from the blog, but probably in a more directed and less chaotic way than his teacher's.

JiGun asks SeRa to see if she can find ShiWoon since he wants ShiWoon's help because 1) he's seen ShiWoon's determination and 2) because he's unaware of the situation between Jini and ShiWoon and will be under the impression that ShiWoon will be more than willing to help Jini out.

SeRa instead says ShiWoon can't (her excuse being training or her not knowing where ShiWoon is) but she will tell JiGun that she knows somebody who can help and then call HaIl who will rush over to find Jini.

Or such and such.

Also, sorry, can't translate this week, gonna be moving on Friday.

EDIT: Also I think this thing about ShiWoon's mother having any significance other than "plot device" is fairly moot.

Nice prediction, I can see that happening and good luck with the move. I was thinking with another reason behind Ji-gun asking Sera for help from Shi woon. My thoughts were that since he knows now that Shi woon is the head of the Sun Woo clan. He figures that if Sera tells Shi Woon that he and Jini needs help, he will call the Sunwoo clan for backup.

The old man, once he hears about his granddaughter being in trouble, will hot hesitate to help out his granddaughter (at least I think this ways since she's in trouble).

EDIT: Also I think this thing about ShiWoon's mother having any significance other than "plot device" is fairly moot.

This will setup the reason for Shi Woon to take down the S.U.C or confront his master.
